Mokler. The AFC-NFC TV split in LA is a solid point. Of course currently in the larger Cali market we have 2 AFC teams v 1 NFC team. To even it up you either have to lose 1 AFC team or add 1 NFC team. The latter is being proposed by our owner. Can't hurt, right?

I guess being delusional is the norm.

Everyone in St. Louis is banking on trotter's tweet.

Trotter's tweet is interesting in regards to forcing a vote and then Albert Breer's tweet about the Raiders running into problems with owners because they have a viable NFL stadium in their home market, what if the vote is based on the teams not the projects. Then the Raiders application is rejected with the others are approved? Spanos will lose his leverage with both Kroenke and San Diego since Carsons only advantage was the 2 team partnership.

Having an alternate viable stadium has always been addressed by the commissioner in his recommendation letter to the owners for a team that wants to relocate so in that regards the Raiders don't meet the relocation guidelines. I have used this point for over a year and the zealots always points out that they can't force him to play in Levi but they can since the team isn't in a position to move without help.

Exactly. Davis has other options. So might (big if) ESK if somehow the BoA, State senate and who ever in the State would decide on funding the $75M construction costs can get all that done in the next 14 business days before Xmas. 14 days not including weekends and that's right up to Xmas eve. The 28th is the Monday after Xmas weekend. i guess they could all vote that day too if they are not all on a typical governmental 2 week holiday.. I sense some grumpy gov. voters if that would be the case.

When has St. Louis ever met a deadline concerning the rams?

Let's recap the meetings.

Kroenke starts it off with a 50/50 split for Inglewood 2nd team.

NFL sets deadline for home markets to give a viable stadium plan by 12/28. That was well received by owners according to reports.

OK so the Chargers/Raiders don't have any viable plans at this point and aren't perceived to have any complete by that date. It can be interpreted that that deadline is set for St. Louis as the only city active in getting funding on the table. Goodell stated that even if the plan is in place it doesn't guarantee the team will stay.

It looks pretty clear that the NFL wants Inglewood and the olive branch extended by Kroenke was the final piece to the puzzle. If Carson was an option they already had both markets (San Diego/Oakland) off the table without a viable stadium option. Giving this new meeting schedule (Jan/2016) and waiting for St. Louis a couple of more weeks just shows that the NFL is ready to approve Inglewood but needs to erase the last speed bump. JMO

Pretty tough for San Diego to come up with a plan when Spanos rejects everything before it even has legs.

Isn't that what Kroenke's 50/50 proposal is designed to do?

Isn't he basically saying to Spanos, okay, you want in? Pony up $1B and climb aboard.

300 Spanos
200 G4
PSL 300 - 400
Naming right 200-300

They split the construction cost and split the game day revenue 50/50. Everything else is Kroenke's.
I don't think naming rights would be Spanos'. That may get negotiated in some way though and would seem fair since Spanos will be going into big debt over this. He wants a say in the parking and design too. But that is already done so he's out of luck there. I guess he can pick out the draperies.
G4, some of his own $$ and Goldman. 3M + 3M + 4M respectively.
Speaking to that I heard Kroenke's banker is Chase. Could Chase and Goldman get involved in the same project comfortably?
