Oh, and that title is total click bait, nobody on that panel is "furious", but there is definitely disappointment.

I don't love the blue on blue look, much prefer the blue on yellow but this actually looks pretty nice...

That was awesome Zen! Thanks for posting it. I just love listening to our "RAMBASSADOR" Eric Dickerson!

Love his suggestion of getting the fans involved in the decision. I bet we'd still have hotns on the helmet!!

"I asked if they could change them if needed, they said "No, we aren't going to change them". "The horn was an iconic piece of the Los Angeles Rams football team" "The horn on the helmet, why mess with that?" "Ike Bruce, Torry Holt and Marshall all felt the same on the call, why mess with the horn?"

Dumoff obviously had his mind made up that he and the FO knew better than the fans and any former players! Why even have a call with them if you really don't care what they say?!?!

From the "STOLEN ASU" logo to the uni...the whole thing is EMBARRASSING and shameful. Neutering the helmet horn will forever be tied to Mr. Dumoff and will be on his grave stone: "I am the fool who neutered the Horn!".

This seems more like a move the Stl FO would have made not our current one. I thought they had their shit together but apparently I was wrong.

Great video altogether. It's sad that they didn't cycle in old players and other people for opinions.

But could someone go to Best Buy and please get Dickerson a good microphone instead of whatever POC he's using? :lol2:

Eric Dickerson. The guy who once faked an injury and sat out due to a contract dispute with the Rams. The guy who, as a Colt, was suspended for refusing to participate in practice drills. The guy who undermined Jeff Fisher to enhance his own public profile. The guy who once publicly called for the Rams to bench Jared Goff in favor of Sean Mannion.

Why the fuck would I care what Eric Dickerson thinks?

Because he's not giving his opinion on contract disputes or practice habits? He was right about Fisher. 2016 Goff was way in over his head.

You have an uncanny talent when it comes to missing the point.

Eric Dickerson whined and complained his way out of Los Angeles as a player, and set himself up as a voice of dissent in recent years. The Rams have tried to incorporate him into the franchise, but he seems to do more harm than good.

Propping him up as some sort of representative of the Rams' fan base or a caretaker of the team's history and legacy is laughable given his track record.

Thus, I don't care what he thinks.

He was good at running with the football (when he wasn't fumbling - a flaw in his game that is often overlooked). That's it.

Because of his past actions I’m not going to listen much to his opinions.

BUT I am disturbed by the claim that previous players were not consulted and that the focus groups were pretty limited.

That's a different issue.

When I think about true Rams ambassadors, I think of guys like Jack Youngblood, Jackie Slater, Tom Mack, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt and Steven Jackson. In a perfect world, it would be nice if guys like that were on board with the rebranding.

In the end, though, I'm not sure you can please everyone. The Rams clearly wanted to create a distinct image that would be associated with the start of the SoFi Era, so to speak. Is that, and will that prove to be, a good idea? Time will tell.
