I too was contemplating between moving higher up vs closer to the field and ended up deciding to move closer to the field based on the club. Executive club allows you to walk around the stadium whereas the patio club doesn't. Ended up with aisle seats in section c116 row 3. Counting down the days!

Nice you got the aisle! I'm in 9-10, not far off from the other aisle.

I honestly didn't like the seat selection process. Would have been nice to actually see seat availability similar to what we had for the Coliseum. Our rep just asked a few questions like our preference in seat location (aisle, closer to the middle of the field, vantage point, etc) and went back to his office to look. He then would come out with a list of seat locations written on a piece of paper and would try to find the view from the seat using the interactive display. I wish I was able to see available seats myself. Love my seats, but wondering if there were better ones available 8-)

My turn in the barrel:

Our consultant, Dipika, was very nice, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy at all. Gareth and i made it clear we were interested in non-club seats when they became available. And though she did mention the advantages of club seats several times she was not, in any way, giving us a hard sell. Those advantages are primarily, better food, better restrooms, better parking, better stadium entry, access to other stadium events, VIP team events, and of course better seats. It's a more premium/VIP experience.

And to be honest, i found the SSL to be more doable than the ticket price at the club level. I'd buy a 15k SSL for a $100 ticket with all those premium benifits but i don't think i'm willing to pay close to $400 a ticket for 10 games a year at any SSL price. Still, if it's in your price range, it all looks really sweet.

She wasn't very clear on when the general seats would go on sale, used the phrase "in a year" a couple times but didn't have a specific time frame for us.

The 100k seats on the home side are sold out as was one other section on the home side. The 100k seats on the visitors side were nearly sold out (all according to our consultant). She said about 25% of the 15k seats now on sale are sold.

She was interested in how much we expected/were willing to pay for what we're looking for.

There were Chargers buyers there too. Dipika, though she does't sell Chargers seats, said they were moving but not as well as the Rams seat licences.

It almost goes without saying, but if you fail to buy season tickets, you forfeit your license.

You will get your license money back after 50 years, including whatever interest you paid. But anyone who's willing to calculate the present value of money 50 years from now knows that's not very significant. It's still a nice feature though.

I asked what happens if the Rams get a new stadium in 30 years. She said the license would still be valid, not 100% sure i buy that, won't they want to sell licenses for that new stadium?

I'm also a little skeptical about how comfortable the stadium is going to be on a really hot day but she swore the roof would keep it in the low 70's.

Probably my favorite part was on the quite large scale model of the entertainment district, they had airplane shadows moving across it every so often. How cool was that? (Somewhere Tom Ridge is weeping.)

On the way out Dipika offered us some (very small) bottled water though i couldn't help but notice some at the presentation were drinking Stella. I guess beer is for closers (or buyers).

Anyway, great experience, glad we went, and really looking forward to my chance to buy some SSL's when the rest of the stadium is for sale...

My pleasure! See you at the stadium!

The6Rams wrote:...SSL's for the Cowboys and since inception the tickets have only gone up by $10 per ticket. So that's the comparison I worked with and if true that prices go up marginally over time then it's not too bad.

My rep pretty much used the same example when I asked about future prices. Dallas opened 9 years ago and have barely gone up at all.

They're giving a 3 year price guarantee so that is something. Of course we all want to know exactly what will happen after the term is over. Hehe. The Cowboys answer helped me believe it will be reasonable. I had used the Cowboys PSL prices and value to help me predict the Rams seat licensing sections and pricing and it did come out pretty close.

Lots of us here in the SW corner. Our VIP parking will be assigned closeby. I asked about tailgating bathrooms. They said they're not sure about specific tailgating restrooms, but the SW will be where much of the restaurants and bars etc will be located so the tailgating bathroom situation should be pretty good if you're tailgating in that area.

I did go for the C222 (Row 6 - middle seats):

Since I'm $15K 2nd level, I can go to the Patio Club. It's got more of an open feel with natural light.

The 1st level lounge (for the $15K-$35K licenses) has more of an inside feel:

Elvis, your experience and result were very similar to mine. Thanks for getting a rough timeframe for non-club seat sales. Given that all seats are going to have some degree of SSL, I wonder if they will use the preview center during the next phase or if we’re going to have a hectic computer race like last time.

You're absolutely right, the 15K SSL is manageable but the $7500 a year over 50 years in season tickets is a tough pill to swallow. I'm actually surprised that all the ticket prices for the club seats are the same price. I think that would make things challenging to recoup your ticket prices over the long haul when you're 15K tickets are competing with the VIP ones or the higher tier club seats on the ticket market.

But then again the rep made it seem like the $375 per ticket is under priced and money can be recouped and then some.
