So who is this mob that’s trying to run Goff out of town? Who has the pitchforks and torches out? Who’s parked in front of Goff’s gated community with a Uhaul?

I don’t want Goff gone and am absolutely demanding help on the offensive line. BUT if a team comes calling with an enticing offer for Goff, is it wrong for the Rams to listen?

The "offer" simply needs to be "I'll take him," we dont even need much back. Someone taking that Contract off our hands is compensation enough.

They should listen, and its at least theoretically possible that an offer could be made that would make sense. I don't expect that to happen, but you never know with these things.

I was totally stunned when not only there was a taker for Bradford, but that along with Foles we also got a 2!!! for him. Stunning. Like you said Avenger, ya never know. The thinking in NFL circles is completely different than fan-think, and just because fans think that Goff doesn't have value it doesn't mean GM's and Executives think that.

twitter rams fans pining for snead to come up with a way to dump goff and land watson have switched gears, they're now pining for snead to come up with a way to dump goff and land rodgers... my guess is the losing super bowl qb will quickly replace the pining for rodgers. :D

This is an opinion site. Unless we have Sean, Les, or Stan in on these conversations all any of us can do is apply personal experience, the experience of others we trust, or just take wild-ass guesses. I never claimed that you were wrong-or that I was right. I just added what I have learned through experience. Come on Avenger. Hard feelings begin when we get so wrapped up in our own need for validation that we lose sight of why most of us are here and that's to discuss the good, bad, and ugly aspects of the team we all want to do well. Most of us are guilty of doing this from time to time but I eventually find perspective and value from everyone here who contributes.

RE unloading Goff’s contract: unless you get a rookie or a vet on close to minimum, your paying your starting QB, especially if he is any good. So we dump his contract. Then what? We are in no position to draft a top QB, trading for/signing a Watson level guy puts us in the same contract boat and MIGHT improve the position. Anything/anyone else is going to be a downgrade at the position most certainly.

Goff ain’t goin anywhere in 2021.

I wouldn't discount Rodgers coming to the Rams so fast. Homes in Malibu and Del Mar. He's LEAVING Green Bay IMO.

I'm all for the sharing of opinions.

I'm not the one claiming to have inside sources or experience that trumps everyone else's opinions.
