Those look crappy to me. I like the colors better than the old but the design is lame. Chargers too. My worry meter just spiked.

Why wouldn't the traditional uniforms draw new fans too? Never stopped anyone before. The opposite more likely because they are quality. Especially the road white combination. This must be about $$$.

They might be elite on the world stage as they are a huge company. All I've seen from their drawing board is less that stellar. They should have stuck with shoes.
Even the NBA uniforms are going the wrong way. See Lakers for an example.

Color me concerned with fingers, legs, arms and eyes crossed.

I'm resigned to the fact that they're going to screw them up.

But the old guard accounts for a lot of money and a lot of SSLs. You can be sure the Rams are genuinely listening to them and trying make sure they're happy with the new unis..

Thats not exactly the vibe I got talking to Vinny.

This is about rebranding the look to mesh with the new stadium.

Anyways, thats what I got from Vinny. We shall see.

Having talked to Demoff at one of his breakfasts and having heard from people who have talked to him a lot more than i ever will, my take is the Rams are tying very hard to do both: Keep the old guard fans who love the current throwbacks happy while also doing something new and modern.

It sounds like a recipe for disaster but the old guard fans who take this stuff really seriously, who get regular updates, who get to offer their input and apparently have seen some mock ups at this point seem pretty optimistic.

But yes, we shall see...

I would be surprised if Nike had 100% control on the uniform. This is LA RAMS branding after all.

My money is on its a collaboration of ideas. And the loyalty for this team will not be ignored.

There is something the Rams can not control with the new uniforms is that some will be happy, and some will want to take a torch to the place.

There were a good many that loved the Blueberries we must not forget. I am pretty much 100% that ain't going to happen again.

GO RAMS!!!

Yeah, I think thats what Vinny is referring to when he says there will be 4 uniforms. One will be the new glitzy unis, then there will be 2 styles of throwbacks to keep the old guard happy.

That’s actually not a bad way to placate AND rebrand. As long as the NFL is cool with frequent use of the throwbacks/alternates. And they really should be, a la the NBA.

How many uniforms did the Golden State Warriors have last season? Like 6?

Obviously I could be totally wrong but, I actually see them going the other way with it. 2 new uni's home/away, color rush, and keeping the current throwbacks which they already know are popular (or introducing blue/white throwbacks).

I just can't see redesigning and releasing only one uniform. Unless universally hated, you're basically cutting your sales in half. I know if I like the new ones I'm buying at least one home and one away.
