Perez was a good story, what the AAF needs. But he had a decent 1st game, not great. But the Iron as a team looked great. He was marginal at best in the next 2 games, they kept winning. He was bad last week and they lose, then last night was truly awful. 3/7 for only 4 yards and a pick 6
So I don’t think he got figured out as much as teams started to play better football and he didn’t rise with it.
Still rooting for the kid though

moklerman wrote:AAF website still a little wonky when it comes to stats. Was looking to see how Philip Nelson's numbers compared to the other Fleet QB's and he doesn't seem to be listed on the overall QB stat board. Bercavici and Ross are both there but not Nelson. Wikipedia had his numbers but they sure didn't reflect how I thought he was playing. His accuracy and timing seem a lot better to me but his numbers don't really reflect it.

Yeah AAF site kinda sucks for stats.
@Elvis found a much better site. It’s not real time, but eventually they get all the stats together.

Another former (cough cough) Rams QB making a name for himself in the AAF. Aaron Murray leads Atlanta to a big comeback win a gain at Memphis today

It's amazing how many of these AAF QB's have a Rams affiliation.

That kind of got me thinking, what's Austin Davis up to these days? But according to Wikipedia he's coaching with the Seahawks...

Something I forgot to mention about Bercavici that concerns me is how he takes a hit. Some guys know how to take a hit and not get hurt and some guys don't. Bercavici seems to pinball his head off the turf every time he goes down. They showed how he was taking hits on some of his passes and it seemed each time, the back of his head was really slamming into the ground on hits that looked very pedestrian, relatively speaking.

I know this is a common problem with many young QB, but with Berc, he really has it in spades. That is, if he takes his drop and throws, he’s money. But when he looks off his first read, he just looks like he has no confidence and looks confused.
