Have you ever been to a movie or a play with someone and, after it ends, you reveal that you liked what you saw, and the other person reveals that he or she did not.

Now, imagine that the other person then proceeds to tell you over and over how much the movie or play sucked, ridicules each aspect that he or she disliked, and quotes from reviewers who agree with his or her opinion (knowing full well that there are other critics who liked the movie or play).

Can you see how, after a while, that might get annoying?

In the end, we all have an opinion. There is no right and wrong here.

Doesn't that take all the fun out of arguing with all the people who aren't as smart as us? :lol2:

At the risk of offending many of you out there. I am with Avenger on this one.

YES, WE GET THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY HATE THE NEW UNIFORMS. There is no point in posting multiple messages and threads just to beat that dead horse over and over with nothing new. It's only been a day and I can say that I am absolutely dead sick and tired of seeing the same "points" thrown around repeatedly.

I recommend you all might as well put that hate message in your forum avatar/signature so you don't have to type it up every time. This is supposed to be a positive atmosphere and all I feel in this thread is god damn negativity.

I was literally hesitant to come check out this thread when the uniform first revealed because I knew there are some "purists" on this forum that's gonna hate it and also happen to be the most vocal about it.

We get it. Please for the love of god move on to hate something else that at least will generate some positive discussion from it please.

yep, pure nike bullshit, and fits in perfectly with the "fibonacci sequence" nonsense... and ya really gotta love this comment:

“This is a unique design feature that we are excited to introduce. This stitching above the patch is the same stitch used throughout our jerseys..."

yet when looking at the jersey stitching in the above photos that show the patch / zigzag stitching, none of the other jersey stitching is the same zigzag pattern, so i guess they really didn't mean "throughout our jerseys". ;)

Now something fun... If you want to see how the new jersey would look on you, Ramsnewlook.com has this Snapchat Lens that you are able to download to put the new jersey on yourself. Here is mine! 8-)

This whole thing is all of my worst nightmares come true. The have gone full Nike in the worst possible way and compounded that with pretentious bullshit. As bad as Georgia was, she didn't even come close to approaching this level of nonsense.

The Rams used to have a reputation for being "finesse" but it was largely untrue and based mostly on the fact that they were in LA. But DeMoff has intentionally embraced all of the things that the "Lambs" were given a stigma for.

Male cheerleaders, soft uniforms, pretentious rationalizations...we're the NFL equivalent of Zoolander and Best Buy. Woke dialed to 11.

What an embarrassment.

Hey @Elvis, where did you find this? I didn't see it in the official Rams online shop.

Thanks!

For what it’s worth, casual football fans will probably think “ hey, is something different with the Rams uniform this year” after a game or two. Looking at the blue and yellow unis actually look pretty similar to the throwbacks.
And now I can be told how I am wrong.

Amen.
"The italicized font represents the progressive mindset of Los Angeles"
Cringe.
They are embracing everything I dislike about our culture.

As for the aesthetics of the uniform, I'm not a "purist" necessarily. I was born in 1992 and the Rams left town before I could understand what football was. So I'm not clinging to a past I never experienced. I just think that the old uniforms were simply better looking from a design standpoint. It's not an emotional bias. Why change something if it's not going to be better? They basically made a bad version of a great uniform. It was change for change's sake.

I know this pic is run through that new filter thingamajig, but if the helmet horns were really going to be this thick I would change my grade of "F" to an "F+".
