A lot of the league is salty af about Gurley saying the Rams can't be beat. Most taking it completely out of context of course. He was asked the question directly and answered it in a jovial way. Do people expect him to say "Oh we can totally be beat, by anyone, by EVERYONE!! We suck!"

Kind of wish he hadn't said it, but it really is up to the rest of the league to prove him wrong.

I totally freaked out when i saw he said that.

But my god. What a good place of mind for our players to be in. We need them expecting and playing to win.

We are not the ones on field, we are not the ones doing it. So, i guess if that is the mindset - bring it on.

Myself, it scared me. So used to us losing.

We will get a loss. Just please, please, please....Not lose game 5 to the Hawks.

I can handle a loss, just not that one.

I agree that trolling other teams' sites is pointless and makes us all look bad and, since its pretty topical this week, I'd also add that if you want to an example of the right way to post on other teams' sites, check out Alice's posts on Seahawks.net.

bad form to be sure but, damn, it sure can be fun being a prick at rival team forums when the team you pull for is riding high, ha ha... of course someone always has to ruin it, never fails, by responding to your boasting / trash talk posts with a sincere "the rams are clearly the best team in the nfl, we would love to have mcvay, he's nothing short of the best hc in the league, so young, he's going to be with you guys for a long time, which is bad news for us, and your front office, it knows how to do things right, quickly wraps up your key players, brings in marquee players, we've never seen anything like that here, our guys our idiots..."

The owner and two of their mods are trolls ... and another mod is a boot-licking coward. Most of their members are unable to carry on an intelligent football conversation.

I think people had been taking Gurley's intended context wrong.

If Gurley was using the context of being "inside looking on the outside", then he was out of line.

But rather I think he was taking the context from the "inside looking in" which shows confidence in the "we not me" mentality.

I think Gurley is an introvert that loves people, thus he isn't trying to gloat or piss off others. He is only concerned with being a team player and encouraging the guys on his team.
