Brady let some air out and someone found out and snitched (Colts, Ravens).

Falcons pumped in fake crowd noise and we found out.

These are dumb things but they come out.

Imagine if players and coaches were told to tank games.

Deflategate went to the Supreme Court and they rejected it. Just think about that for a second.

Roger Goodell would be literally be crucified if something fishy was going on.

some tweets were claiming the refs favored the pats because the penalty count was pats 4, falcons 9... thing is the "official" penalty count never includes declined or offsetting penalties, the pats had two such penalties to make it 6 to 9.... and the 6 was about the pats season average per game (6.5), while the falcons season average was 7.2... had the falcons not blatantly held receivers 3 times on that one drive, flags would have been even...

Predetermined? No, I never even said that. But manipulated? Is it really that hard to believe that a billion dollar industry, started and run by crime families and still connected, at the very least, to gambling as well as all the money from advertisers isn't protecting their investment, not to mention profiting from it?

Does everyone really believe that the league is on the up and up?

halfway through the second quarter? that's when the three defensive holding calls were made on a single drive, more like that's what happens when you own the 29th defense in points allowed....

I wasn't aware that crime family's were founders of the league,, or that they are still involved.

Sure, a lot of the big money in this country comes from old dough earned in nefarious ways, long ago, but the notion that things are rigged would blow it for me.
If these games/teams were attached to puppet strings, I'd call it a day immediately. I think most would if they already haven't.

Now whether or not the officiating is instructed to assist the game day excitement value, well I could see that. It's still not right but would enhance the experience and sell tickets.

Interesting how momentum changed at that point. Now their 27 ranked D didn't help things on that drive one bit. Were the Falcons coming back down to earth? They were killing it early on. Did the Pats rise up? Were there other changes occuring? IDK.

Anyway, they probably weren't all that gassed in the 2nd qtr. Some of the adrenaline may have worn off but my earlier post probably wasn't too accurate.

I think there are some who forever like the enjoyment of "fixed" games.

Plus, who wouldn't like to think the Pats always winning is fixed?

I personally do not believe the games are fixed.

Falcons seriously mis-read and mis-played the end of this SB. Brutal. But fact is, you cannot assume anything playing a team with that much talent and experience of winning.

Pains me to say, but Pats took advantage of it and won. I feel like they won the game based on their experience and talent.

I do not believe it was "fixed."
