Goff sure seemed like he wasn't going through progressions very well. Does he come off of his first read to other options? That first fumble to Reynolds that went out of bounds was just a panic throw and it didn't seem to get much better the rest of the game. by ramsman34 5 years 7 months ago Total posts: 10040 Joined: Apr 16 2015 Back in LA baby! I don't recall seeing them even trying to run 2 back sets or getting the RB's involved in creative ways. If pass pro is such an issue they could also go big with two TE's and two RB's. They could also commit to the run a little more.Real running game stuff though, not the trick 'em, cutesy crap. No one is falling for it anymore. Whether it garners immediate results or takes some time, they need to approach the game like they did vs. Dallas in the playoffs last year. Granted, they would need to tailor the rushing game to the o-linemen on hand but whatever scheme suits their skills plus a commitment to pounding the ball needs to be established. Goff has no hope otherwise. This team and scheme are not set up to beat defenses when they know the pass is coming.Of course, this season is basically over anyway so it doesn't really matter but it would be nice to see them do what they should be doing the remainder of the season. 2 by Haden 5 years 7 months ago Total posts: 2195 Joined: Sep 06 2016 Spokane, WA Pro Bowl Goff is a problem POST #159 TOPIC AUTHOR bremillard, SoCalRam78 liked this post Dick84 wrote:No.No +1The line is bad but McVay isn’t coaching for shit either and Gurley is washed too.
