Maybe?!! :?2:
a Wiktionary quote comes to mind:

….and maybe if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle!!! :P

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Seriously....I agree that a healthy Rob DingedIn2019! Havenstein paired with David Snead'sDraftSteal! Edwards could definitely form a sold Right Side of a Ram 2020 OLine. :idea2:
I think if Los Ramos can bring back Andrew StillSolid! Whitworth for a decent hometown discount, that it's a GOOD move. :idea2:

…..the rest? IMO, McSnead will draft OL and we sign vet FA OL for 2020. They are gonna hedge their bets for 2020 and the opening of Stan Kroenke World!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

But... again.. take a look at the makeup of SF’s interior line. Assuming guys can’t grow doesn’t fit with NFL reality. Get the scheme right.

They may go OL early and often and that would certainly be an indictment of the 'utes' we already have on the OL. Or they could go defense since the new guy will probably want more players who 'fit his scheme'. I'll believe Whitworth is back once he puts ink to paper. Despite being 39 it'll help since supposedly Noteboom won't be ready for the start of the season. If AW doesn't sign, then I would expect them to sign a vet OL. Most definitely younger. Perhaps a bit more costly, depending on who it may be.

Great post PA. I agree on signing a veteran. I just can't see the Rams rolling with the same guys that struggled all year long.

How many OL 'blue chippers' are going to be available when the Rams pick in the 2nd round? There could be a pretty good LB or DL there or perhaps a RB depending on the future of Gurley. And as far as free agent OL go, how much money do they have to spend in free agency?

They’re gonna bring back Whit. They have Boom, Corbett, Edwards and Evans, plus Havenstein. They can resign Blythe or another vet.
I think they need to draft edge & DL with the first two draft picks... although they may have enough edge options in house.
The line was growing at the end of the year. Under the circumstances, that’s pretty good.

Yeah the myth is the line was terrible all season. However through the first 6 games, including week 6 when Noteboom went down on our second offensive possession and the line shuffling began, our RBs averaged 4.2 ypc. Through the first five games our offense averaged 28 PPG. And we still lost 2 thanks to Wade's D against Tampa and Z missing a GWFG against Seattle.

Hell win those two like they should have, having enough offense to do it and we're 11-5. Then had the defense stayed awake vs SF in week 16, we're 12-4 and everybody would be cooing about the job Kromer did. Hell, maybe even Wade and Bones would still be around. Well at least Bones......those 44, 45 point games against Tampa and Baltimore combined with the sleepwalking the defense did in the closing minutes vs. SF and Wade probably still would have been gone. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

too much youth wouldn't be a good thing imo. We need players now so FA would be at the top of the shopping list. Some of the guys we have could turn out to be solid after a year of some snaps. Agreed with Dick84 that scheme tweaks and some quicker hit options would change things

Yeah, 2019 is in the past. The coaching changes have been made and we're on to bigger and better things. Keep opposing offenses under 21 and even with the same offensive roster, I gotta believe we're in the playoffs in 2020. But there will probably be tweaks there anyway.

Not promising anything but another 2nd year guy who might develop is Chandler Brewer. Small school tackle, Middle Tennessee, named first team All-Conference. 6'6, 320. (BTW he had non-Hodgkin lymphoma from the summer on through his senior season and underwent treatment between games.)

He sounds potentially like a ROG/ROT type.

Yeah, lots of options....AND HOPE!! :!2:
HOPE FOR 2020 FROM ME! :idea2:

Hope, that with new Rams OC Kevin O'Connell's help and input, that our OL and Running Game 2019 putrid stats (courtesy of Aaron Kromer) will be improved upon BigTime!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:
