They don't blow me away, but I love the helmet and home uniforms have nice tweaks, but not a major change really other than the road uniform. I think they could have done some cooler just using royal and bone only.

But IMO this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion.

My initial thoughts:

1. I was worried that it could be such a drastic change that I'd say "that's not our Rams!" I don't have that feeling. Low bar, but at least I can say they cleared that hurdle.

2. Regarding the blue jersey: definitely looks like a modification of the classic/throwback look. Immediately recognizable as a Rams jersey.

3. Regarding the bone jersey: I have no problem with the idea of a bone base (something different/original), but I wonder if, standing alone, its recognizable as a Rams jersey (very faint horn on shoulder doesn't scream "Rams"). As part of the overall uniform, though, I'm fine with it.

4. Regarding the helmet: again, I'm in a "could be worse" posture. It definitely is a Rams helmet. The color and finish are cool. I don't know that the less curled/segmented horn is an improvement.

5. Definitely have to get used to the font of the jersey numbers. Its... different...

6. Extremely underwhelmed by the seemingly random, spur of the moment, release.

7. If the Chargers can have all those variations, why don't we? I would have thought we would have a yellow jersey option.

8. In the end, I'll probably buy a new jersey (who knows, maybe even a bone version) and I'm not going to join those (I'm sure there will be many) who will pan the uniforms as terrible, but I'm finding the whole 2020 marketing campaign anticlimactic, at best.
