I agree. Just didn't understand why he's a fan of 3 of the Chicago sports teams but not the Bears.

I wonder when they applied/gave the NFL notice for new uniforms?

Times have changed.

25 years ago this week the St. Louis Blues unveiled and started playing in new uniforms that had the diagonal design and tons of red. They switched mid season after the NHL All Star game.

IIRC the Penguins also switched mid season.

I noticed when Goff was holding this hat. Brings back memories of when the Rams won the SB. I was wearing caps a lot back then and I couldn't wait to get(see) what the SB hat was going to look like.

Then they revealed the god-awful black and silver thing. I bought it anyway but never wore it. It's hideous. I won't even be buying the NFC Championship one. I simply refuse to wear a Raiders colored Rams hat.

I mean, I think I get that they have these generic designs they can quickly slap whichever team's logo on there that wins but I don't agree with it. The NFL generates billions of dollars. You'd think they could "eat" a 100 hats that don't come true.

But if the Rams win, it would be nice if the hat was at least in the team colors.

Didn’t realize the Blues and Penguins were in the NFL?

Just pointing out that uniform changes used to be no big deal. Now it's worthy years of debate, paperwork submissions, press conferences and coordinated media announcements.

I still want to hear an answer to Hacksaw's question. Did the Rams really request a uniform change in 1997 so they could wear them in 2000?
