I disagree completely. Now is the time they should be trying some things. How can they hope to do anything differently if they never try? This is the same old offense that's been here ever since Fisher arrived. I don't see anything from Groh expanding the passing attack.

All in all, I'm not surprised with the start. Goff was hurt by his receivers a couple times. If Cooper holds onto that, they probably score in a couple plays and people would be a little more excited with his start. The INT, I thought his inexperience mighta been the culprit. He didn't feel the pressure, waited a half second too long and got hit. I thought he threw with a little more authority the second possession. The pass to Cooper was on the money. Higbee looks like he could be a major contributor.

I'm not disappointed at this point. I thought they were less ready to play at the start than Dallas was. I'm not going to freak out over that just yet. But if it seems to be a recurring theme throughout the preseason, I'll be worried. You can't just assume you'll flip the switch if you've been coasting for two months. For now, I'm enjoying Rams football. I'll start freaking out when the real games start.

agree... if ya wanna be worried because of how the rams offense has fared under fish for the last 4 years, i'm with, if ya wanna be worried because fish makes comments like if case was the rams qb the last 4 years the rams would have made the postseason twice, i'm with ya too, but to point to this game (or pretty much any preseason game) as a harbinger of things to come, well that just doesn't make any sense to me... heck, how many snaps did the 1s play? 15? 20? and even when they were on the field it wasn't the same 1s that will start game 1 of the regular season... anyway hopefully goff's ok, hopefully everyone's ok, and hopefully the guys that are ailing get back to 100% before the real games start...

True, but what kind of play was it? A timid, short, low-potential pass. Which is Fisher ball. Why aren't the receivers attacking and challenging the defense? A 6 yard button hook isn't going to loosen up the defense or get them on their heels. And that's Fisher ball all day, every day.
