I'm in the minority, but I think Aaron Rodgers with the Rams could work. McVay has a way of bringing everybody together and Rodgers played much better in the second half of the season. I think at this point all he wants to do is win and rehabilitate his rep.

My first choice is definitely Stafford but if it doesn't work out, I think we could still be a very good team next year with Rodgers.

Ron Jaworski started his career with the Rams, he didn't finish here.

Joe Namath, Bert Jones, Dan Pastorini, Steve Bartkowski, sure. But not Jaworski.

Was thinking Bartkowski, confused my polish guys, oh yeah Namath and Jones, just terrible.

You def are. He skills have diminished significantly and he brings nothing but drama. Does not fit well with We Not Me.

What the heck are talking about here. Rams sign the freaking top 5 QB and move on.

I'll sign up for that minority. Rodgers has at times been brilliant. At his best, his touchdown to interception ratio was off the charts. And for all his weirdness, I don't remember anybody claiming he was not a good teammate. Certainly his Packers' receivers all loved him, just ask the Jets who signed them all. And the Packers under LaFleur play a similar offense to McVay's, so it wouldn't be a big lift for him to adapt.

I've always thought he just wanted to win. No doubt he's a strange guy, though, and that doesn't translate for some fans.

I would hate to think the availability of Rodgers would negatively impact the Rams' willingness to pay Stafford. But if it can't be worked out with Matthew, Rodgers would be easily the best option out there for McVay.

I agree that Rodgers could work.

I just don’t like the guy.

I don't particularly like him either, but if he goes to the Rams he will immediately become my favorite NFL quarterback as long as he's a good Ram.

I could ‘t agree more. I more than dislike him in every facet and could never see myself rooting for someone like him even at the expense of not being able to support my team during his presence.

Of course. I've been a Rams fan for close to 50 years. If Aaron Rodgers becomes a Ram, I'd "adopt" him for his tenure.

Won't buy his jersey, though. 8-)

I still believe this will all be much ado about nothing and Stafford will be back.
