I would’ve done the same. If you know you’re going to get a stadium in near future, why rebrand then or now?
How many of the other teams that got new stadiums also changed their uniforms the same year? IMO, a new stadium is excitement enough and stands on it's own.

Maybe all these articles about the NFL being the No Fun League might make them rethink their position on the uniforms? I mean, it sure seems petty to stick to their current position.

Maybe the Rams offer to pay a "fine" that goes to a charity?

moklerman wrote:That doesn't match what actually happened though. They WANTED to change the uniforms once they got to the Coliseum and DID change them as much as they could. Since they weren't prepared, they weren't allowed to change them all the way to the blue & white's though.

See, you have your facts wrong, again.

The Rams didn't make any uniform changes for 2016, their first year back in L.A.

The fans wanted change. If they didn't, we'd still be playing in unaltered current unis until the new stadium opened.

The Rams are tryng to listen to the fans and stick to their plan at the same time which is why we have these Franken-unis...

So the Rams didn't know until 2017 that the fans were clamoring for a uniform change or they just didn't care until then?

If that's what's actually going on. We only have the Rams version of things to go on and they don't have the best track record in that regard.

Have other teams run into these kinds of problems trying to switch uniforms? I don't recall ever hearing of any.

A simple internet search would have found out getting new uniforms was 1B on the list for Aneglinos behind getting the team back.

Different league and different era, but the NY Islanders successfully dumped these atrocities after two seasons.

There you go again.

What problems have they run in to?

The Rams have said repeatedly since the move that they intend to change to new uniforms when the new stadium opens.

That has never changed. And there are no problems i know of getting it done.

So what are you talking about?
