Loving that it appears the Rams sold him with football and dinner!

I'm hoping Richard Sherman is his agent. :D

If we sign him I am giving ALL the credit to the handsomeness of Sean Mcbae.

I think this will be the tale of the heart and the head. The Heart looks for legacy, the head for security. By all indications, the Rams are the Hearts choice, We do not know the head's choice yet. Tenn has the money, LA has everything else. I do not see NO has a serious contender at this point because they have no money. They can offer Suh a chance for a Super Bowl run but so can the Rams. The Rams just check off way more boxes than any other interested team in the NFL right now. If his heart wins, Suh will be wearing horns, If his Head wins, expect to see him in Tenn next season. I still think as much as he wants to come to the Rams and be part of something truly special, the money will just not quite line up and his head will prevail.

He has narrowed it down to three.
Hmm ... my first thread was deemed “silly” by some self-appointed experts.

Maybe it wasn’t so silly, after all.

I didn't think he needed to clarify his previous tweet, but if it wasn't clear that the Rams were the favorite and the Titans and Saints were the only other teams in the race, he made it clear with this comment.

The Rams are going for that championship run this year. I want Suh. I like it. I'm glad things are shaking out this way.

We need to keep Goff upright though. That's really my only concern with this team outside of a deep ball threat not named Woods.

PFF said we had a good OL last year but outside of our two FA additions, the rest were awful according to the good ole eyeball test. We still need help on the OL if we're going to take it to the next level and make a deep playoff push.

I like the draft but it's hard to get guys who are instant impact players in year one, especially with low picks. Funds are low too so I don't know if they will get the help they really need.

"what are you looking at"...

you beat me to it dick... lame take

saffold played well as did everyone on the line... maybe not as well as RS but adequate for sure..

now depth? ya that we need to address... but like all teams, depth is usually needed in more than one area...

yeah, a real head scratcher.... hell, even havenstein ranked 14th among right tackles per pff, posting a better run blocking grade than whitworth... in fact hav graded out as 3rd best in run blocking among all tackles (left and right) who booked at least 400 snaps (72 tackles).

olines are such a peculiar thing...

look at the eagles this season, pff ranked their oline league best, yet second year 5th round stiff vaitai, with a whopping 6 nfl starts under his belt at the start of the season, covered for all-world peters for most of the year and helped the eagles bring home the lombardi... was vaitai an example of quality depth? at left guard the eagles fielded journeyman wisniewski, on his 3rd team, serviceable but nowhere near saffold's talent level... their center? a 6th rounder who turned out to be a stud - is kelce an example of "building a quality oline"? a blueprint? at right guard they found a quality olineman in 3rd rounder brooks... johnson has been a quality right tackle for the eagles, but he cost them the 4th pick in the 1st round given he was the heir apparent to peters, yet 5 years later johnson is still playing right tackle.

anyway, go through every teams' oline, look at their starters, their number of starts, their draft positions, whether they were drafted by their team or acquired, look at team oline depth, and look at where their offenses ranked in offensive scoring, i.e. look for a correlation between oline composition and offensive success, it's a complete and total crapshoot.
