You know, I never really expected a win today. The defense played really well. Gave them all they can handle. And I honestly thought we would be 1-4 going into the bye. So things aren't as bad as I previously expected.

But that offense. Its what will hinder them going forward. The blocking is downright horrible. I think we did expect problems, but its actually worse than I expected. They got two weeks to figure some things out. But if the guys up front are just plain not as good as the guys they block, what can you do?

Hard to be critical when you have rookies and a 2nd year project on the line, begging for struggles.

This offense will keep them out of the playoffs, it's abysmal.

That game by Foles was as bad as a game can get for a QB. 4 picks. One handed them points and two took away sure points from us.

Jeff Fisher's approach to football is predicated on playing defense and running the ball. The Rams did both of those more than well enough to win this week, but their passing game, with no protection, no open receivers and dumb decisions by the QB, was a complete abomination and lost them the game. Two weeks to get it fixed, Cignetti.

My thoughts exactly, except that I'd also add that I'm tired of watching the Jeff Fisher philosophy play-out on the field. It's simply too high risk and leave little room for error.

Agreed AltiTude, We left 12 -16 points out there too Gave their D 6. Totally winnable game.
We have a RB now which will change the O. Need to tweak that line play though. What's the deal with Softfold and his shoulder?

No need for a Week 6 new thread since we are on bye...so putting this here.

PFT's Week 6 Power Rankings

12. Rams (2-3; No. 10): With the intersection of an underground landfill fire and a radioactive dump not far from their practice facility, the Rams should spend their bye week in any place but St. Louis.

Dead thread. But, I just now watched the game. Yes, that is how I have spent the beginning of my Friday night.

Fuck.

My emotional response is torn - love so much, hate so much. It's like King Solomon.

In real time on Sunday, I was at the Philly game (great fun!) - but, when I saw the number change from 7 to 14 for Packers I burst into an uncontrollble sobbing. It was a gutteral crying that I could not contain. I was just crying my ass off.

eta: I think I fell more in love. My guy took my phone so I wouldn't upset tweet, and proceeded to give me constant updates on the game. I calmed down, and a Philly fan even brought me a drink. Well, B was playing good so no one was hating on the Rams.

I couldn't figure out how they kept getting to the endzone and not scoring.

Now I know.

Ok, so you all have seen it, debated it, etc.....I can only add. We are not over, we are still in. As I think I said somwhere....NOW they need to prove they are not our losing Rams and go beat the teams they should beat. Here we go.

And they still loss. Honestly, Rams should've won last week if it weren't for their own mistakes and Chargers could've won today.

Packers are currently the best team in the NFC, but they are not unbeatable.

And...how about them Panthers!!!
