Seattle won and Rams won (both barely) so SOV still matters.

Cinci won so Rams now only need 2.5 more points to clinch the division.

Jets at Bills in the morning, we want Bills.

Dolphins at the Browns and Packers at the Vikings in the afternoon. We want Browns and Vikings.

SNF: Falcons at Commanders. We want Commanders.

MNF: Detroit at SF, can't say we want it but SF win gives us a point.

I think all we really need tomorrow is at least 2 wins out of the 5 to clinch. That would give SEA a tie at best on SoV.

I think thats because even if SEA ties us on SoVictory, we beat them on SoSchedule.

I think this is because if we get 3 wins and Sea gets 3 wins this week, then SEA needs 11 wins out of possible 10 next week to win SoV. So they can only tie us on SoV, and then tiebreaker goes to SoSchedule.

No. But close. There are a total of 14 games that count. 5 this week and 9 next week. We just need 3 of the 14 games to go our way, either this week or next week.

That's just to win the Strength of Victory tiebreaker. I think we don't even need 3 wins to clinch now. I think even if we tie SEA on the SoV, we beat them on the next tiebreaker, Strength of Schedule. But that hasn't been confirmed yet.

If week 17 results in Rams at least tying SEA on SoV, then all possible game results in week 18 either give Rams SoV or SoS.

We need 3 more total (really 2.5) over the next two weeks. We get 2 today, only need 1 next week, etc.

Watching the first of those "five" important games, I started to feel like I was a bad human being. My dislike of ARod is immense and I've taken great pleasure in his failures. When he played just 4 snaps for the Jets last year I was happy about it. After the Rams beat him this year I smiled for a couple of days. When he was sacked in the third quarter today making him the most sacked QB in history I laughed out loud. And shortly thereafter when he threw a pick and got flagged for unnecessary roughness (contact out of bounds) for a sissy push, I guffawed!!! Bad human or not, I enjoy the failure of an extremely arrogant, me first player in the ultimate team game. 4 MVPs, just 1 title and far too much adoration by the sports media. I almost hope he doesn't retire so he can further my enjoyment.

The Rams & Seahawks needed to win to stay alive. They did. The Rams then needed 4 of 6 games to fall in their favor to win the West this week. The Bengals already won TNF. The Bills beat the Jets and now they need 2 more wins (let’s forget 1.5 wins with a tie). The Vikings, Commanders, Browns, 49ers must add up to 2 more wins to take the West this week! At least that’s what I understand.
