I think they are back in ‘24 as far as SB contention - AD’s last year under current pact. Smart drafting this year, some bridge vets this year, and MAYBE a young vet building block or 2 depending on cap space and salary structures, this year and next.

We get rid of an older vet who didn't really have a huge impact on our D, which allowed more rushing yards per game than 2021 and a much higher ypc average. They traded away an almost 30 year old CB, who many fans claimed to see/know he'd lost a step and was either getting burned or making mistakes. They got rid of an Edge player who was maligned most of the year for not getting pressure on the QB. All while creating 2023 cap space and nuking the high cap numbers for 2024! SO we're not contenders in 2023? We haven't even gone through free agency and the draft yet but we're done, toast. Gotta love fandom!!
