Any chance you, Canuck and max become civil to each other? :lol2:

:D Sure, as much as rational, reasonable discussion is a possibility. :idea2: As long as there's a Howard Beale/Scooby Do approach to things not going right, doubtful.

The Bills are a good team who had 7 months to think about losing to Mahomes and KC with 13 seconds to get it done.

The Rams are the Superbowl Champions who had 7 months to re-live one of the best performances in postseason history.

Could it have been a better set-up for disaster? I originally thought it disrespect to be 3 point underdogs but clearly the folks in Vegas know what they're doing.

Any chance we're dogs vs. Atlanta?
Any chance we lay another egg?

If the team craps out vs Atlanta wave bye bye to the season. Yeah I know it's early but sometimes things are like they seem. Professional sports are 90% attitude. There's a reason why there are so few repeats in the NFL.

A horrible, disappointing game. I agree with the assessment here so I won't belabor the on the field results.

I have to admit my serious dissatisfaction with LA football fans. No personal offense, but as a whole the Rams fans in LA suck.

I know the excuses - ticket brokers, too expensive, blah blah blah... So there aren't enough well to do people in LA to buy tickets, yet a large group of schmucks from Buffalo can afford it? Whatever.

On the evening our Rams unveil their 2021 championship banner our team had to use silent counts to snap the ball at times. It's downright embarrassing, and it happens all the time in LA - pretty much nowhere else in the NFL.

I am an LA Rams fan, and I have been my entire life, but I have to admit it - LA Rams fans suck.

Again, not aimed at anyone on this board personally.

Offensive play calling was bland and predictable. Running game was pedestrian at best.

If that's the best we've got, we're screwed.

The center and guard play wasn't great. Noteboom was on his heels alot tonjght. Discouraged at their performance.

This season opener game was a weird set up. Felt it when the schedule came out. And then the Buffo hype machine went off.
After that game, its hard to make a case for the good guy.

And now the media narrative is set / confirmed / as written,, , , uuhh..

Was Cohen calling the plays.

Go Rams.

I think the answer to SOFI attendance is more complicated. It does boil down to ticket prices, but — think about it, if you’re a family in Buffalo. It’s so much easier to convince the wife/family to visit Hollywood, Los Angeles. And, spring for a kings ransom to check out beautiful SOFI.

Versus a LA fan flying to Buffalo NY to spend time in highmark stadium in middle of nowhere NY.

Turn out at the Rams training camp was crazy this year. There’s demand, but it can’t compete with visiting tourist dollars.

I am not talking about how well Rams fan travel - my perception is we do not travel well. I am talking about how we attend home games in our own backyard. The broadcasts are embarrassing as a fan. Come on, Buffalo has a metro population of just over 880,000. LA metro is just under 13 million. We can't find enough fans out of 13 million for the world champions banner reveal game to at least prevent the good guys from needing a silent snap? This game should have been close to sold out by Rams fans - there will always be some opposing fans for sure.

This game was a major party. We will rarely if ever get better attendance than this game.

That is pretty pathetic.

I guess the old adage about LA - start winning and the fans will show up - doesn't really apply.

I think the price of everything in this crappily run state has an impact. CA is high taxes, fees, etc...with the extra hit for ticket holders of PSLS, tickets, food, gas...I think people would rather make some money by selling their ticks. To me it is no surprise that, when you pay big money for PSLs and ticks, you consider selling to acquire some capital back.

Personally, it is a bummer, because I'd love to see this palace like the dome in New Orleans, but it ain't happening...or maybe just on rare occasions.

I’ll agree there were a lot of Bills fan and the game was no fun at SOFI. My point is to explain why out of towners pay more for LA tix than maybe locals would.

As a counterpoint… in spite of more red than I was comfortable with. The 9ers NFC championship game last year was one of the best fan experience I’ve had in a long time. (Over Lakers winning championship with Kobe, Over dodgers World Series, etc, etc.). Great LA fans in my section in SOFI.

Equally awesome Rams v. Kansas City last minute shoot out fest. Almost 99% Rams fan packed the coliseum.

So LA Rams has a awesome fan base — if and when they show.

You def shouldnt have to go silent count in your own stadium coming off a Super Bowl win.

Bills mafia is a thing, I hope we can mostly fill it with Ram fans going forward, but I know the niners, faders, etc will be a challenge.

So LA Rams fans are awesome once every 2-3 years or so.
