WTF! I ignore my notifications for one busy day at work and Les does another super deal! I hope this works. It’s never boring with Les and Sean. Now if Les can just add Jeffery Simmons, an all pro guard, Kittle, and Bobby Wagner…

Hmmm....

Rams knew they were gonna get OBJ and that's why DJax is out.

Of course, in the real world, Detroit will probably claim him on waivers...

It's absolutely what the Rams needed. OBJ down at the goal line. Think of the one on one matchups. Beckham on a jump ball in the zone is the best in the league. Good luck to ALL db's with the unfortunate set against him.....Those field goals last week because we didn't have the OBJ factor. it will be fun to watch...

Cons
Can he handle being the number 3 or 4 WR?
If he doesn't get his targets, how does he react?
How much of the Pro Bowl OBJ is still there?

Pros
Financial investment is inconsequential.
Could he be to the Rams what Antonio Brown was to the Bucs last year?
WR depth no longer a concern.
He didn't go to Green Bay or another team we could face in the playoffs.

He is more dynamic that Van or Woods. Those guys are nice players, but Kupp is the only guy that scares anyone on defense. Thing here is OBJ will get single coverage for the first time in his career. Forget the stats, he will make a difference, especially in the playoffs.

That seems to be their M.O. at the trade deadline and here. "The postseason". It's not what Von Miller can do to get us to the postseason.....we're 7-2 and going to get there, more likely than not.....it's what affect he can have IN the postseason. Same with OBJ***.

***I'm still a bit leary of the diva effect but like Cowherd said, "if he can join a team and not have to get 10 targets a game; or be the unquestioned #1 or #2; or come back to the huddle or sidelines complaining, then he could help some team".

Funny though, we got Von Miller and suddenly we were THE TEAM. And the Titans whipped the shit out of THE TEAM. Now we've got OBJ and we're certainly THE TEAM again but it's niners week. We better have a different outcome. BIG TIME!!!!
