I wonder if there is a way to start some sort of petition to have the Rams not renew tickets of people who got seats for the sole purpose of making a profit. This would be a win win for them, they still make money and they fill the stadium with REAL fans.

The Rams already have that policy. They claimed to have eliminated many deposit holders for being suspected re sellers.

There will be no "suspected" about it come 2017. They'll know for certain who most of them are. And if the Rams are true to this year's policy, the re-sellers will be excluded giving current season ticket holders the opportunity to upgrade their seats...

I made it into Wave 7. I am happy to sift through the remnants of what's left and wait for the upcoming PSLs.

I speculate that the RAMS will have a lot of tickets destined for the PSL route, leaving the upper sections(maybe??) for normal season ticket purchases. When we all get back in line, those upper seats will be the first to go. After that... get ready to spend $10K or above per ticket to have the right to buy season tickets.

I'm not sure how many of us with 8tix will make it into that universe when $80,000+ will get us the opportunity to be season ticket holders.

I know that at least some of the thousands of people in front of me, will not be buying 8tix, unless they take a second mortgage out on their house.

It may balance out all the stubhub activity, that is going on now.

From what I've seen people who said they got their deposits refunded had ticketmaster activity in the past that showed evidence of ticket reselling ...or people who were in states far away from California who were likely not going to be buying tickets to attend games.

Honestly, I feel for people who either didn't get the tickets they wanted, or who may not get in at all because of how quickly they sold. I didn't get my top choice for tickets either... but just like I could have gotten up earlier and gotten my deposit in earlier, so could other people have done the same.

Its' got to be frustrating, but honestly people who are long time Ram fans, who bought season tickets and intend on going to every game...if they bought extra tickets to defer the substantial expense of their own tickets...particularly heading towards paying for PSLs.... Not sure how or why that's out of bounds. Not everyone is going to have those thousands sitting around for season tickets, and thousands more for PSLs. Thats' not making a profit, it's deferring a rather large expense.

List has been updated to reflect your season tickets and the season ticket holder badge has been added to your profile. :D

I, as many others, share the same sentiments as all 3 of you when it comes to resellers. I wish there was a way to dissuade them from getting tickets. However, I also think the process was as fair as it could be. Aside from the exclusive "family and friends" group, we were all given the same opportunity to put a deposit down for season tickets. The Rams announced a date and time when they would start accepting deposits. It was then up to us to make arrangements to put down a deposit as close to 10:00am on January 18th as possible. I realize we all have our own circumstances as to why we put down our deposit when we did, but that's not something the Rams can factor in to the priority process. The Rams also can't differentiate a "fan" from a "reseller" as both are part of the general population. I know there will be tons of fans that will be upset they won't get season tickets, but some of that responsibility falls on them for putting in a deposit late. I'm not trying to defend the Rams, but we can't place all the blame on them. In fact, once you are part of one of the waves, their ticket services team does a great job of taking care of you.

The silver lining is that the Coliseum is only temporary. As Mins from T.O. Camp mentioned, once the Rams move to the Inglewood stadium and PSLs become a factor, I think it will deter resellers from getting season tickets. True fans won't mind, whereas resellers might.

For those of us that were able to get season tickets (whether they are where we want to sit or not), we still got season tickets. As I mentioned, there will be tons of people that won't even be afforded that opportunity. Having season tickets for the first season back in Los Angeles is something exciting in itself.
