Apparently the Raiders are close to selling part of the team to an LA investor.. Which begs some questions, if he sells and they don't get the green light to move, what happens? Or is the sale conditional on saying yes?

I don't buy it. It's such a random thing at a random time and it just doesn't make sense. I think it's just Mark being Mark.

It's an LA thing but you would think it would hit the presses in the bay area if it had any run. Might have just been white noise for the owners meeting.

So if all teams are expected to apply for relocation with a dead lock expected then what. They say get t he 3 teams together to work something out. sounds to me like StL is out by that comment. Also, Oak and SD have nothing to work out between themselves, so what Rooney is saying is ESK needs to broker a deal with the other two teams to help them achieve their original preferred goal, to stay in their home markets. Back up plan is one of the 2 get's Inglewood in a couple of seasons (not yet disclosed publicly) and the other is S.O.L. Stan would have to hold firm he gets his "head start" for being the instigator and developer and the league likely allows it out of their desire to stay out of Federal court. I hope ESK is keeping that intention silent too.
