as if this is even debatable...

the rams offense was horrendous under fisher, as was every qb who took the field... pointing to the rams 6-2 record with case under center (last 4 games of 2015, first 4 games of 2016) as proof that it wasn't is plain laughable - the rams offense averaged 12 friggin' points per game in 6 of those 8 outings, just think about that, 12 friggin' points per game.

it's the same laughable argument fish/snead used when pointing to bradford's record against the nfc west as proof the offense was capable, good grief, that offense sucked to high heaven in those games too but was also propped up, record-wise, by stout defensive play.

anyway, i don't think the shit-fest that was the rams offense under fish was lost on too many rams fans, nor rams players for that matter, hopefully mcvay can get this thing turned around, hopefully sooner than later.

Like Hard Knocks, Snead was nearly invisible, until the McVay hire, then he's all over the show.

I'm pretty sure the Snead/Fisher riff was real but we're not in a very good position to know...

I'm kind of tired of Snead. Maybe next year he's gone. Especially if the team goes 6-10.

My fav part of Fisher is when he tells the D to crank it up after then refs told him to slow it down lol I love stuff like that from Fisher.

Fisher is a good guy and a good coach. If he just knew how to run a offense, he would still be here. That's been his acchiles heel.

This bugged me. When addressing the team as the voice of the executive branch who just fired their beloved head coach, Demoff should have stopped playing pocket pool and showed his hands.. Bad leadership body language. :?

I said this about Demoff. He's a huge detriment to this organization in terms of winning football.

My position has been clear. Our New Hope is all on the kid, Luke Skywalker McVay.

We really have nothing else going for us in the FO.

Well, it was real.

Having your hands in your pockets can show a lack of confidence in the moment and possibly fear.

If I was addressing that room of unaware players that loved their Head Coach informing them that I just axed him, I might have had my hands in my pockets as well.

That was not an easy thing for Demoff to do. I thought he handled it very well considering. I like Demoff. I think he does his job well. This mid-season firing of our HC gave us the opportunity to have the pick of the litter for his replacement. Most of us are happy with the McVay hiring that may very well not taken place if our FO didn't get an early start in the process.

I really liked Fish as well. I loved the defensive and special teams products he put on the field. If only his ego could have delegated the offense to someone who was competent at running the offense he would likely still be our head coach. I believe to this day he still has not learned this weakness of his. Nor will ever.

I think your right about not getting it. Perhaps he'll have an epiphany while fishing. He really needed to let it go and get the right guy. Who knows, it takes one to know one and he apparently really doesn't know. Shame really.

As far as Demoff goes, I hold no grudges, just an observation.
However, I get that that the players were unhappy and are very large men,, but Demoff signs their paycheck and I'm certain the players didn't want to commit career suicide over Fish. In fact, my impression was that they were mad at themselves for getting coach fired,, not so much management.

Or,, perhaps KD was just being coy in the moment. :?

You could tell the players 100% tuned him out when he talked. They could see through the BS
