I'd love this move. LeFluer would give us another offensive coach with a successful track record in building a prolific offense...

I'm hearing there is mutual interest....it's a promotion so I don't believe the Falcons can stop him from interviewing..

great move for the Rams.

Even though it's a promotion they can still block the Rams from hiring him, but I don't think they would do that. The Niners are also interested in him as their OC, so that's another obstacle.

Wonder if they can deny permission to the 49ers, but grant permission to the Rams...Anyway, if he's in play I find it odd that he would want to coach under McVay when he coached with Kyle Shanahan in Washington too and Shanahan brought him to Atlanta.

If LaFleur does end up with the Rams that might speak volumes about McVay.

They can't deny one team and allow another. Either he's allowed to interview or not
Heck if I'm blank I fire Quinn and promote Shanahan

Goff goes from Boras/Weinke as offensive minds to lean on in year 1, to McVay/Olsen and likely Lafleur in year 2. We're definitely going to find out what kind of QB we have next season, assuming the o-line takes shape. But that's a big assumption.

Not sure if Kromer is an upgrade over coach Bou, but we'll find out about that too.

Kromer being affective is key to our success though. McVay needs to hit on this particular hire.

Bou is a respected position coach, which is why I'm surprised it didn't work out.

I completely agree 89. I remember I was thrilled when he got hired sure. This makes me concerned about the quality of our players at those positions.
New game, sometimes requires new philosophy. I hope Kromer can bring that to the table and translate it to production on the field. Fingers crossed bro.
