That was the BoA bill. The STL fans wanted it to die. The bill being vetoed is a non factor for us LA fans.

A BoA bill to make a vote required for stadium funding which, 1) might not have passed, or 2) would have delayed the 'funding bill', which if passed might make StL appear that much further along and capable, which could sway a couple of critical votes.

Spanos still refusing is his last bit of leverage in SD, or he is really digging in as has been described as a big baby standing in the corner going emo ?

You're correct, but I still don't think it matters. Their stadium plan/term sheet isn't attractive to other owners. The other owners won't reject Rams to LA because STL might be able to come up with an plan to finance about 35% of the stadium in an unattractive market. I don't think there will be a vote among the owners, so there's no need to sway a couple of critical votes. There will be a negotiation between SK and Spanos where they both give up a little, but both win in the end.

I don't buy the comments at all about Spanos rejecting partnering with SK in Inglewood. It's his way of still negotiating through the media. He's not going to give up/show signs of weakness while the game is still going on.
