Baseball naturally distances. Base runners or the infielders may need to mask up tho.

Golf same thing. No caddies

Hoops and especially football require more contact. I'm sure things will change if things spike up in either summer sport. Same in the general public after reopening.

Folks are impatient and the economy is imploding so the powers that be had to loosen the noose. At least for now. 🤞

What are your Californians take on the Governors sudden 360 that sports could resume by 1st week of June without fans? Didn't he say live sporting events would not happen in Cali anytime soon last week?

actually newsom hasn't done a 180, sports without fans has always been part of stage 3, and at the end of april he said california could move into stage 3 by june (we're currently in stage 2), which appears to be happening... sports with fans is the final stage, stage 4, which he said wouldn't happen until therapeutics have been developed.
