Now that the roof is almost complete every video I've seen of the interior seating is nicely shaded. Almost no direct sunlight at all, and the heavy shadow's cast by the framing and beams is almost nil. Might look (and probably will) a lot different in person, but on video the light/shadow looks very evenly and cleanly diffused. The only issue I can see where direct sun might be an issue would be sunset, where the sun is low enough to shine directly through the openings of stadium under the shell, and even that might not be an issue if the stands are facing east/west and act as sunblockers.
