My argument is that you were being ad hominem, avoiding the issue and getting in little personalized digs and deflections about style and so on (and then also just repeating that you;re right). That;s what happened. What I asked for was evidence you could disprove any of the value judgments I listed, since you basically claimed you could do that, but that hasn't happened (and I believe most likely won't). I assume by now that that's all I am going to get. No argument making a case. Just ad hominem stuff and declarations of victory.

So what's at stake in the Chicago game?

I don't think Goff's profile as a qb is at stake since he has had an "off" game or 2 against defenses that threw new stuff at the Rams and the Rams won anyway. Plus even IF he has an "off"game, he has previously bounced back from those and will again. That's his trajectory, I think, and he was that way going back to Cal.

This game turns on a lot of things (including weather), but I think those things primarily reduce to whether the Rams can run on the Bears and if the Rams D can limit the Bears points. Goff could easily have a good game which would most likely put it out of reach.

The Rams were not that sharp overall against Detroit but I can think of only one time under McVay where they had 2 "off" games in a row and that was last year (Seattle in LA then @ Jacksonville).

I think what we will get is a primed Rams team that knows what is at stake and will be up for it. Road or no road.

There are actually no rules that state that I, or anyone else, must only post things that meet with zn’s approval. In fact, there is no reference to any prohibition against posts that zn finds to be too personal, hyperbolic, or based on inferences drawn from others’ comments. Indeed, it would be fair to say that the forum’s rules don’t give a rodent’s posterior what zn thinks.
