All the Ram defense haters got shown they don't understand what they've been seeing. This is not a bad defense. It's a defense lacking NFL experience but when they simply quit thinking about the play and react as they've been coached they can play aggressively but most of all fast.

The Niners are a known quantity to these young guys having beaten them early in the season. So there is less thinking and more reacting, i.e. playing faster. Next year this will begin to shape into an elite defensive unit. They need help in the secondary but damn they have great safeties. Lake, Curl, and Kinchens are outstanding.

The Rams just beat two teams looked upon as being SB contenders. People blame the injuries for the Niner woes and that is legit. But they ignore that the Rams had as many or more early in the season. The Niners were struggling before the injuries.

The Rams are a good team. Even a lot of fans don't see that. This team can compete with anyone. They get into the playoffs as the #3 seed and they can do some damage.

That's one down 3 to go. They can't afford to let down against NY.
