That’s not my perception. My lasting memory of Reeder is Shanahan repeatedly getting him isolated in coverage or taking advantage of the fact that he couldn’t get to the sideline. Jones is not the fastest guy either, but he reads and anticipates well enough to cover for it.

I dunno, I just don’t feel like we’re hearing the story, and like Alec Ogletree, Akers, etc we probably never will. You can’t tell me there’s a world where Jones isn’t better than any of the 5 guys they kept—I don’t care what defense they play. And injured guys don’t usually get traded. I guess we’ll know if he fails the physical.

I meant in my 53 prediction I had Reeder gone. But didnt account for the EJ trade. And ya, MCV was salty yesterday. The EJ sitch is probably bothering him too. Lol
