We have to catch the Vikings, the other teams dont really matter. It would have been huge to beat the Ravens but what a battle.

The Rams need to go 3-1 at worst, that means the Vikings must go 1-3, IMO that aint great even with a reasonable tough schedule for the Vikings. My main concern is the Vikings play the Lions the last game of the season, will the Lions have anything to play for?

At this point I think it is likely the Rams will need to beat SF in week 18 to make the playoffs. A reverse of the 2021 season. Will the Niners have anything to play for? Need the Eagles to lose one more, but we need Seattle to lose one more ugh..

The Niners have the Rams number. They should be in the hunt for a bye and home field advantage so they will likely be playing to win. If beating the Niners is what we need to get into the postseason I'm not optimistic. Yesterday's game may have been huge in that regard.

The niners are the leader in the clubhouse right now for the No 1 seed, we just need Philly lose one more game and niners would likely have nothing to play for. But whether it matters to the niners or not, if the Rams need to beat the niners to get into the tourney, it's playoff game in my eyes. Now we just have to take care of business first...

6 teams vying for 2 spots.
Minnesota
GB
Rams
Saints
Falcons
Seahawks

After last night, I have no idea how this shakes out.

I do know that we have the best HC and QB of the 6 teams. That usually gives a team a big edge.

All I know is last night (both games) showed you LOUD and clear you cant take ANY team for granted. IMO if the Rams can take care of business it will work out. All my focus is on the commanders.

Yep. All about the commandos. Rams can’t lose and have to be at least a game better than Vikings and/or Packers to get in. They can be tied with any of the other teams and they win the tie breakers.

Using the NYT simulation model, I ran the following scenario...

Rams win their next 3 games.

and next week the following happens:
Bucs beat the Packers
Cincy beats the Vikes
Eagles beat the Seahawks

If those things happen, the Rams have a 97% chance of getting in.

That pretty much means that if Vikes, Packers, and Seahawks lose next week, we are in the drivers seat as long as we beat Skins, Saints, and Giants.

Yep the key is the Vikings/Packers play so one will have another L on top of what happens this week. Prolly better for the Rams if the Vikings win, also dont see the Vikings beating the Lions twice...I think 9-8 will get us in, but we need to focus on the Commanders...
