McVay has been very good when given time to find coaches. But the well could be running dry. Raheem and Henderson will be tough too replace.

Evero is a great option but he is getting a ton of interviews as well.

Will see

Henny is a huge loss. Especially for AD. But MCV knows who’s likely to go before they go and he has contingency plans. All I am saying is that MCV knows what he is doing, more so now than ever. I’m confident he will bring the right guys in.

With the firing of a number of head coaches and their staffs, there is a pool of quality DCs and position coaches available. Like Action said, we’ll see what happens.

I also think you need to find a guy that is a scheme fit as well. Wink for instance, good DC, but between the issues in NY ( i think those are mostly Daboll) and his pressure scheme I dont like him as a match. Holding out for Evero...

After Wade, McVay went in a completely different direction with a Fangio disciple. It's hard to know if he'll want continuity or something different again...

I agree with Action on Wink, but ya never know. I think MCV will look for the schemes that yes fit his players, but also that gave him, SF, similar offenses problems. He will look for innovators who are master teachers, humble, and relate really well to people - players/staff. An extension of him and the culture he has helped to build.

The shitty part is MCV can’t do anything unless/until Raheem gets and takes an offer

One guy I thought about is former NFL Linebacker, Darryl Tapp, who is a DLine coach for the the 49ers, as our new DC, should Morris gets a HC position. Or we can make sure Anthony Pleasant stays, by offering him the DC spot, and that is again, Morris gets an HC position.
