How is exposing your past errors and inability to admit them indicative of “homerism?”

I’m done arguing about it. But I will add one thing. I have no doubt that if we didn’t hire McVay, regardless of who gets the credit or if it was simply hitting the lottery, our team would almost certainly suck the past 4 years.

We're both big McVay fans. Who do you credit for the hire? It's pretty clear, to me, that Snead and Demoff were a big part of that.

IIRC, it was Demoff with 'input' from Snead even though Les could have been gone had they hired a different coach who wanted his own GM. And that was speculated at the time.

That's always a good approach because it's impossible to prove one way or the other. If this, then that and so that means this would have happened.

Homerism? When you're accused of "stirring the pot" you simply use the excuse "I'm just playing devils advocate". Well I guess the 'homers' are just using facts to present their side of things. Like the record the last 4 years and the overwhelming consensus among many fans and media people, the prospects for 2021 look extremely good for the Rams. Despite having Demoff in the front office and not having Lamp on the roster.

LOL. I would never question anybody's draft acumen. I thought Brian Leonard was a superb pick for the Rams but then I was born and raised in NJ and attended Rutgers games more than a few times. Of course, after the fact I reserve the right to second guess draftniks!! But I also won't pound the table and say, "the Rams screwed themselves by missing on insert name here. They're dumb. Idiots. Just set themselves back 3 years!!! Clearly they don't know as much about drafting as I do!!!" Cause I'm just a dumb assed fan who's never made an enlightening post in my life.

I’m quite amused since most of the bashing is by posters who got it all wrong just a few months ago. I don’t have to go back 4 years to slam those idiots.

And to all my fellow Rams fans who find my posts worthless, free to not read them going forward. I will continue to posts for those who are interested in what I have to say.

You're always a good read Max. But I don't believe that was the point. I have yet to read any fan on any internet forum who always gets it right. Some (recently) got it wrong on Goff but that doesn't make them morons or idiots who deserve to be "slammed" or dumbasses who don't understand why they were wrong. Nobody here is a genius and unless someone IS a proven genius, then they should refrain from "slamming" >>>> particularly if they don't like getting slammed themselves. Now, that was the point but like you've said previously, I've never told you something you already didn't know.
