He's with Houston now. His job was to replace Sammy Watkins and he did that quite well. Watkins averaged 2.6 receptions per game for the Rams. Cooks, 4.0. Sammy had 9 receptions of 20 or more yards. Cooks, 31. Sammy had 2 receptions of 40 or more yards. Cooks 5. I'd say he replaced him in spades. He actually was the deep threat Watkins was supposed to be. But his time here is over. Soon we'll be talking about the guy who replaces Brandin Cooks and I hope he does as good as Cooks did replacing Sammy. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. McVay: 77-49, 2 Superbowls, 1 Lombardi............Doubt at your own peril by laram 5 years 2 months ago Total posts: 444 Joined: Sep 30 2015 LA Coliseum Starter Cooks Traded POST #109 Dick84 wrote:It's great how those goalposts move...How did they move pray tell? You dudes are something else, you can’t counter with anything football related, so you reduce the discussion to this. You brought up other receivers and I explained The differences. The only thing that moved is your nerve.Pffffttt by ramsman34 5 years 2 months ago Total posts: 10040 Joined: Apr 16 2015 Back in LA baby! He doesn’t separate well against man, especially press man. He does body catch and his hands are just ok. He does have deceptive speeds and is pretty quick in and out of breaks. I for one, hoped for more. But, he did make some plays for us. A better WR with better/stronger hands probably makes at least one of those contested catches in the SB. Then again, they might not have gotten open and both balls on those plays fluttered, giving defenders time to recover. His concussions and how he doesn’t seem to protect himself week or is just unlucky became a concern. BC is gone. There are a number or WRs in the draft that could very well be better and a true #1 deep threat. We will see if Snead lands one. 2 Reply 11 / 12 1 11 12 Display: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by: AuthorPost timeSubject Sort by: AscendingDescending Jump to: Forum Rams/NFL Other Sports Rams Fans United Q&A's Board Business 119 posts Jul 01 2025
