Here's what the email said:

As a Rams Season Ticket Member, if the Rams are playing in Super Bowl LIII, you will be automatically entered in to a drawing to win the right to purchase two Super Bowl LIII tickets.

So all season seat holders have a long, long shot at SB tickets. I think the minimum price is $850-900 face for upper level seats but at least you are there.

The MB Dome in Atlanta seats 80000 for the Super Bowl. Each team gets like 16 or 17% of that. Allegedly the rough split most teams use is 1/3 for the team itself, 1/3 for local advertisers and sponsors then 1/3 for the season ticket holders.

Do the math. The odds are rough.

According to your math mixed with my math I have about a 70% chance of getting tickets.

I like it!

17% of 80000 is about 13,000. Split that 3 ways and you get about 4300. That means roughly about 2200 pairs of tickets will end up directly in the hands of LA Rams season ticket holders.

Anyone else wants to go will need to have another routes or buy on the secondary market.

Your original post said each team gets 17% of the tickets. But you are saying that 17% gets split 3 ways.

I really don't know how they figure this out but here is to hoping it comes to the peeps who are committed on going.

I am due for a lottery win! :)

GO RAMS!!!

The 1/3rd split is based upon the supposed math the NFL recommends.
1/3ish for players, coaches and team employees
1/3ish for sponsors and other VIPs (read that as politicians) the team should keep happy
1/3ish for season ticket holders

You first said:

I took that as "each" team gets 17% for a total of 34%.

I get what you were trying to say now.

We are committed to going one way or another.

I would be interested what they say.

I didn't get the email also but not worried about not being in the pool.

I didn't get the email.

Can anyone share what the process and timeline is for offering SB tickets?

Thanks
