yeah, i'm not seeing anything too alarming going on there... i mean look at the 5-game stretch from 2012-2015, weak rams teams vs double-digit win teams, why would it be any surprise (or suspicious) that the rams were 0-5 for that stretch with vinovich (or anyone else) crewing? and when an eventual 4-12 team gets whipped 0-28 in a road home opener, even if it's against another eventual shitty team, is that at all suspicious? btw i was at that particular game, i didn't see any ref bullshit going on, instead i saw a lot of rams coaching bullshit going on, starting with goff in civies, and a hapless rams head coach who got his ass handed to him by chip kelly.

I think I read that ref crue called a high percentage of roughing the passer penalties.

I think the same reference had th Rams as the 2nd most in those type of penalties.

It will be interesting how they call that for both teams since they're playing in the dome.

I was told that he also through some early flags on our backfield, yet allowed the Saints dbs to play very physical against the Rams. He's had atrocious game changing calls against the Rams through the years. It didn't bode well.

based on what? have you taken a look at the list of games he's crewed through the years? the games he's crewed this year? have you compared it to other crews? this info is publicly available.

the rams secondary was flagged twice, both on peters in the 1st quarter.
- 0-0 score, on a 12-yard completed pass, defensive holding, penalty was declined.
- 0-7 score, on a 7-yard completed pass, pass interference.

the saints secondary was flagged once, on apple in the 2nd quarter:
- 7-14 score, 2nd and 6 incomplete pass, gave rams automatic 1st down.

so where's the big discrepancy?

all told, the rams were penalized 4 times for 32 yards, the saints 2 times for 20 yards, none came close to looking like game changers.

re the hekker spot, the score was 14-14 with 13:14 remaining in the 2nd quarter, the rams were on the saints 16, they didn't get the spot (of course they could have kicked a field goal and gone up 17-14)... the saints took over on their own 13 yard line and marched 87 yards for a td... that td was on the ref crew, not the rams defense, right?
