I think we are getting real close to Case Keenum

This season is done. I'd rather see Mannion.

But what will we see out of Mannion under Fisher Cignetti? I'm pretty confident he'll appear to be a bust.

BTW, remember when we hired Weinke and Jeff Garcia, good times...

Probably true but at least Manion would get some playing time. We did spend the draft choice on the guy maybe he could have some kind of a future with a different coach. I would think any playing time, even under Fisher, would have some value. On the other hand, maybe I'm wrong. Playing under Fisher could actually be a negative.

Did Fisher put Foles in a position to fail? By sticking him under center. New OL. Unreliable recievers. New Offense. Constant negative penalties. He hasn't been sacked much but he's been hit brutally and hurried a lot. Not the best environment for a new young QB to thrive. That's on the coach.

Yes, and I think he did the same to Sam as well.

Baltimore's D is terrible.
So either Fisher is thinking that Foles could bounce back against a lousy D (Although it didnt work against Chicago) or maybe gives Foles a blow and plays Keenum. I'll say this though, if he starts Foles and he plays poorly again, its likely he loses the team.

Put Foles thru concussion protocol this week or come up with some minor injury, give an excuse for starting Keenum, like Denver is doing with Manning.

Keenum starts slow, let Foles come in off the bench if you like

Foles loses the team, or Fisher loses the team, or both?

Without much tape.. it takes teams a few weeks to catch up to his limitations.. in the meantime.. he can make something happen with his feet and improvisation.. Foles can't.
I think it would actually be bad for Mannion to be put in right now.

I completely agree with this post. Sean Mannion might be our future, might not,, but under the circumstances he either thrives or flounders,, with the latter being a career and confidence killer..

Fisher would have lost the team.
Looks like Fisher likes my thinking....
