I don't think so, it's more on putting heat on oak and sd. Every little thing that happens in Carson they make it a big deal and announce it. They think if they win the media they win over the NFL. I don't remember the exact quote but Butts last week said that it's a slow news cycle in the NFL and that what really matters is the nuts and bolts. His point was we're collecting the permits and doing pre work on the site so it'll be ready to break ground in December. They don't need to announce evey little thing that goes on in Inglewood. The big announcemt was made in January. They're going to break ground in December no matter what.

I think this is almost certainly right. It is stressful for us onlookers though. And, of course, it could be wrong.

But If there isn't really a war going on, no fight for L.A., then it makes a lot of sense for SK to quietly do his thing while Carson has all the hoopla and press conferences.

I still think SD and Oak are drawing so much attention to themselves because they're bluffing and Stan is quiet because he's really coming.

But we'll see.

BTW, heard Bill Plashcke on the radio today and he says Rams to L.A. is a done deal, they'll announce in January and play in the Rose Bowl in 2016...
