The PSL $$ was supposed to go to the stadium construction costs which is where ESK got his return. Of course if they aren't selling many / any then I'd have to guess the deal would have to be changed or the Chargers could get evicted. lol GO RAMS !!! GO DODGERS !!! I'm pretty sure the Chargers would have to leave willingly, seriously doubt there's anything in the agreement where they can be forced out by Stan if they don't meet certain criteria...It was indeed. The relo criteria was to appease all 3 teams in play. I have a gut feeling that the NFL hoped that SD would work something out and the Chargers would stay there. I can see why Spanos would try to keep the Raiders out of LA by moving in himself, but now that the Raiders destination is locked up, that is no longer a concern.Spanos could also save the $650M relo fee which could now go towards a new stadium in SD. I agree that the Rams org shouldn't have that much power over the Chargers org. If there was/is a financial agreement which the Chargers can't live up to, then something would have to give though. Either 'forcing' a team sale so a more wealthy entity can take over, (see NFL vote for cross ownership) or precipitating a move back to where they obviously belong. It would also undo one of the relocated teams which many don't have a taste for. I'm sure the NFL would love to get it's LA leverage back as well.GO RAMS GO RAMS !!! GO DODGERS !!!
