Gurley is so much better than SJ.

SJ was not fast enough to the LOS. He got tripped up a lot.

Gurley has better balance and more speed. This guy is very special. Just wait until all the rust is off. Its gonna be scary for defenses to deal with.

The Cards weren't really ready for Gurley today, the Packers will be, but that will open things up for Foles and Tavon. FINALLY!

Thats what I'm thinking. What we saw today is what Fisher envisioned when he drafted him. The plan is to have a legit running back and it will open up play action passes to the speedy receivers.

Very impressive first game. There is something about him that is different. He's elusively fast and has great balance and feet. Seems to have a presence about him. And he's not selfish as he displayed on his last carry.
Like max noted, TGII's presence is going to help the passing game. Mason is a great change of pace guy with a touch of Benny. Solid !

I just watched some Rams SJ with SB @ QB, Gurley is different. SJ would dance behind the line but he certainly possessed the ability to blow you down by running over you. Dude was a house.

He reminds me of Dickerson also I agree guys. The way he took the ball and just glided to the edge waiting to see his hole. Then it appears and before the LB can react Gurley has hit that acceleration through the whole and he's 10 yards down field. I love it! It was great In the 4th quarter listening to the collective groans of the cards fans when he got the ball and their cries of "please somebody tale him"

Rams defense stepped up, but it's amazing how games can be won when your offense makes plays. The Foles pump fake was sweet.

Gurley is a game breaker, elite talent. Rams haven't had many of those on offense in a long time.
