I will try because I know a 49er win is beneficial to the Rams. Like Elvis said, its probably futile anyway. It ain't easy rooting for the bad guys. I remember a few years ago when they were formidable and playing the Patriots. I thought my hate for the Patriots was so strong I'd be pulling for the 49ers. But as the game went on I found myself pulling for the Patriots.

Coming off a huge game against a division rival. Losing your starting LT and OLB. Playing a winless team at home. It should be a walkover.

Root for the niners? No. I simply root against the Eagles. Been doing that for 45 years except in the case of a win by them gives the Rams a leg up in their division or conference slot.

I don't care if the F'ers win another game in the history of the team. But. I have rooted for them to win games before. When it helps the Rams. And this year I wanted them to win a few to drop in the draft order. Maybe 5 wins. Just enough to get behind in the Darnold/Rosen category.

The times I have actually hoped they'd win? They let me down EVERY TIME. That is how evil they are.

I wanted my kids to root for the Rams with me. But I didn't want to force it (mostly). The one thing I couldn't allow was them rooting for the F'ers. So I have told them all along that the F'ers are Darth Vader. That was evil they could understand.

Go Rams!
