Watching this RT #74 Vadal Alexander for LSU vs S.Carolina today. Kid looks awesome in pass pro. Nasty in run game. Early book has him as RT/G prospect 2nd maybe late first rnd.

this is vs Miss St.

At this point I'd go

1a QB
1b WR
3 CB (severity of this need changes with the signing of our free agents)
4 future ILB
5 FS this one is low for me as we could resign McLeod or move Joyner there.

lol back to paying attention to QB. We do have trade up resources this year! I like Conner Cook he reminds me of Phillip Rivers.

I wouldn't use a high draft pick on a QB with a coaching staff that isn't real good at getting the most from that position...

We have Manion and i'd much rater see this FO draft defense, no confidence they'd get it right when using high picks on the O...

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Foles is it. I'd take a serious look at Jared Goff(Cal) and Conner Cook (MSU).

I've watched Mannion for a few years on the West Coast, I think riding the pine & teaching him technique will work wonders for him, he certainly has the ideal size, arm & smarts to be a pro Qb., so for me drafting another Qb is a wasted pick we could use somewhere else...Its too bad Cook can't catch the ball & seems to talk the talk but can't translate that to the field, the dude could be an animal & a special player if he ever finds his brain, but I won't hold my breath, drafting a pass catching TE is a must, altho #88 Lance Kendricks always makes the big play when he's called on... We have to replace Saffold on the line, he just can't stay on the field & I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but I think we're OK at wr with Quick & whats his name, #18, but Foles never looks their way very often...Love Chris Long but he's 32 & starting to miss a lot of playing time due to injury, I think DE is a must...We need to lock up our key free agent Db's & draft an MLB for the future, Lauranitis is a smart but aging MLB, a ball busting MLB with speed would be ideal for this defense... Homer call, but Ronnie Stanley can be a darned good OT. If we put him at LT, moved Robinson back to OG and have a healthy Havenstein and Brown on the right side and draft Voltz for C we'd have a pretty nasty o-line
So I'm for hoping Mannion can play and we draft Stanley 1st, Boyd WR 2nd, Wentz QB 2nd, and Voltz in 3rd...

Yeah Stanley looks really solid. So is Tunsil, he's a beast. This OT class is way better than last year. There's about 5 or 6 guys that can be legit starting NFL LT's. Our two 2nd round picks look to be prime real estate. They could essentially be considered late first round picks the way Philly and the Rams are playing.

Hopefully one of these guys will be there in round two:

1. Taylor Decker Ohio St 6'7" 315 LOT
2. Jack Conklin Mich St 6'6" 318 LOT
3. Tyler Johnstone Oregon 6'6" 283 LOT
4. Jerald Hawkins LSU 6'6" 309 LOT
5. Jason Spriggs Indiana 6'6" 305 LOT
6. Germain Ifedi Tex A&M 6'5" 320 ROT LOT

All of these guys would probably grade out higher than Brandon Scherff and Andrus Peat from last year. I really like Spriggs.

What are your thoughts on Nick Martin?

If there is a dominant center in this draft we absolutely have to take him.

Carson Wentz looks good. They would be Idiotic not to use one of our 2nd round picks on him.

p.s I wanna give my 2 cents on Sean Mannion. If he was the answer at quarterback why wouldn't they start him now. Mean is he REALLY going to play as bad as Foles or Keenum? One thing is for sure I doubt he would play as bad as those 2.

Yeah I can't wait to see how Wentz does at the combine and works. Love to see him against better competition, maybe he'll get a senior bowl invite.
