Barron and Quinn would free up a lot of jack. Methinks these guys are now in prove it mode...

Or moved via trade on draft day? Don't see a role for Barron in a Phillips defense. He is however a scheme fit talent in a GW defense. In fact defense took step in right direction in 2015 when Barron filled a regular role. Cleveland once again has a boatload of picks and are not waiting to be competitive. Inside their organization they believe they can
compete now, one look at their offseason signings are the evidence. Hue developed Dalton, can do same for Brock O. Should have all day behind that OLine. There are some real sleepers in this draft class despite Rams not having round 1 pick. This is the type of draft you want as many picks a possible, the type of class you can get excited about day 3.

Awesome job on creating this thread. Your efforts are resulting in this site being the best site out there. Thank you for devoting the time to this.

Actually I wouldn't pigeon hole Barron as a bad fit for Wade. I posted a video in the whiteboard section a couple months back with Wade describing his 3-4 defense. He's a savvy dude. He adjust everything to fit his players skills. Just like a wise coach should.

I'm going to post it in the main forum. It's pretty informative. Here it is for easy reference.

Thanks Hacksaw and you may be spot on here. I like Barron a lot, on of the few that defended the original trade to bring him on board and defended the retention. I think you just have to throw out 2016 for entire roster due to the relocation and use 2015 as a truer barometer on the returning talent. And Barron was a monster in 2015, personally took out 3 qb's, Big Ben, Palmer and (brain lock).

It is a pleasure to discuss football with posters who have your knowledge of the Rams and football in general. Thanks for sharing the vid
