We will renew. Although I am disappointed that we can't change our seats because I am tired of those concrete stairs with no handrail up to our nosebleed seats. So we have to renew before 3/1 for even a possibility of being offered something else if it becomes available.

And what's with the comment about no guarantee for 2018? I understand about some seats being affected by the remodel, but still. That won't instill much loyalty amongst fans if you can't even keep your season tickets for 3 years in a row.

"We do not anticipate a relocation opportunity being available in 2017 due to expected high renewals and current season tickets being sold out. However, Season Ticket Members who pay in full prior to March 1st could receive an opportunity to participate in a potential relocation program if seats become available."

So, are new customers going to be invited in before existing ones are offered a move? Is that why they don't anticipate any possibility of upgrading seat locations? Because there were a lot of empty seats last year and I'm sure there will be plenty of people not renewing.

(EDIT. Reason, Below chat with Rams regarding my questions)

Hello. How may I help you?
LA_1968
Hello.
I have a question on ticket renewal.
Karleen
How can I help LA_1968?
LA_1968
Say I have 8 season tickets and I want to reduce it to 4 seats this season, is that possible? Or must I renew all 8 to continue?
Karleen
Mind if I ask why you would like to reduce down to 4 LA_1968?
LA_1968
My friends don't seem as interested in going as I hoped.
Karleen
Ok LA_1968! We are pretty excited about our new coach and what he will do for our defense but I understand!
LA_1968
Me too.
Karleen
See if you can persuade them and if not we can see what we can do but it will need to be started in writing.
Once you know for sure you can email me at _________@rams.nfl.com and we can see what we can do for you!
LA_1968
So you cannot say for sure that you can reduce my quantity of season tickets?
Karleen
You should be able to LA_1968!
LA_1968
Okay. You had me worried. Do you think this is something that can be resolved before the March 1 payment deadline?
Karleen
Of course so long as you give us time ot process things on our end as well!
LA_1968
Great. Thanks for your time.
Karleen
My pleasure! Is there anything else I can help you with today?
LA_1968
If you insist then I do have another question that you might be able answer so here goes...
Karleen
Sure!
LA_1968
The season ticket renewal package says that there's only a slim chance of relocating seats for 2017. If it's possible, then I would receive an email invitation to do so after March 1.
Do you know if people on the wait list will get first shot at seats that are not renewed? Or will it be season ticket holders like me from 2017 who get first crack at any openings?
Karleen
It will be re locations first then new business!
LA_1968
Fair enough. Thanks.

I'll bet some will be happy if they can keep their priority and take 2018 off. Not all but I'm sure some won't mind going to a few less games, treating themselves to nicer seats and pocketing the money while holding on to their number in line for Inglewood.

Im pretty pissed about the no seat movement. If they think everyone, including the masses of tix agencies who lost $$ last year are all going after 8 tix each again are out of their fucking minds. It's insulting. They should be doing a complete seat re-assignment program. GUARANTEED everyone would have the opportunity to get better seats.

I think the RAMS should do everything in their power to make the "season ticket holders" happy.

I want to at least hope to get better seats than the ones I had last year. I also know for sure I would be getting better neighbors.

I know other ST holders are downsizing their allotment this time. I was thinking of going from 4 to 2. My seats suck, and I could barely give my tix away on the games I missed. So certainly not much to motivate me to get 4 again.

Looking on the horizon, I don't expect to shell out much for PSLs. So my time as a ST holder is coming to an end.

If they want me to continue footing the bill for their rental stadium, they should open up the seat selection again for a new season, and new beginning.

If not I may go from 4 to 0.

.....And if the RAMS are reading this...Friday March 17th for the deadline to pay? How about moving it into April to give us a chance to get our tax return refunds back?

Last October I also spoke to someone in the front office, about the new stadium and they said we would be having to choose (and I assume pay) for new stadium tickets in the spring. So be prepared for a tsumani of charges soon.

Remember, the Rams are saying this:

We do not anticipate a relocation opportunity being available in 2017 due to expected high renewals and current season tickets being sold out. However, Season Ticket Members who pay in full prior to March 1st could receive an opportunity to participate in a potential relocation program if seats become available.

So if we're right and there won't be nearly as much demand this year as last, and if Karleen is right that 2016 Season Ticket holders will be getting first crack at the newly opened seats, well the possiblity of moving into better seats seems pretty doable to me...

I got my renewal today and with the "may be able to relocate seats" part, I'm definitely NOT renewing.

Anytime someone uses wording of "might", "possibly", "there's a chance" in a contract, I walk away.

I'm not paying $12k for the seats I had last year and as someone mentioned, I couldn't even give away my seats for free for the final two home games against the Cardinals and Niners. No one wanted to pay to see that garbage of a team we put on the field.

I'll just buy a couple games that I really want to attend and save about $10 grand, some of which will be invested for a 70-80" big screen and NFL Sunday ticket, then I can watch any game I want.

Anyone wants my 8 seats at the 30 yard line have at it, they come with free binoculars.

So after sleeping on it I changed my mind lol. I'm going to renew. I don't want to lose my place in line for Inglewood. Plus, the team might be good and I don't want to regret it for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately...there are a a lot of "IF's" in there. I'll be going from 8 to 2 on my ticket count. And that's ONLY if one of my co-workers or friends wants the 2. Me? I'll be buying 50 yd line seats for the ST price of end zone seats on Stub Hub. But the 2 tix allows me to keep my place in line. The way people are dropping, I'm guessing the guy who's # 42,000 on the deposit list is gonna have first crack at Inglewood....
