One thing that I'm happy with as far as all this travel for the team is concerned is at least they are flying from detroit to london. I know overall not a huge difference but at least the travel distance from that point is more equal to the giants travel distance. Hey its almost like we just kicked our first field goal!

They will acclimate to British time as well. Now me watching it at 6:30 am,, well acclimation remains to be seen. Saturday night factored in and all.. 8-)

We will be down in Newport Beach to watch the game. Brunch and game at The Staggs Bar and Kitchen (It's a Rams Establishment) :)

Rams the Legends live on wrote:I believed last week was our first real test of the year to see if we could beat a unknown opponent and we of course failed. I believe this week will be part two of that test, an will be a easier one. Since both teams need this win I believe the odds that we tie has risen cause because fate just loves to use ya for a laughingstock and irony when you are down.........LOL

I believe overall coming away from this game Fish must win and do so soundly and even then we will consider the strength of opponent he has coached against. So even though this contest will be part two of a test to see if our Rams can be coached to win against a opponent we have not game planned for twice in a years time. A win here barely moves the needle in the confidence factor that he is indeed our future coach.

I fear a loss here would make Fish entrench more in his ideology, where as most might question, ok what I am doing just has not been working for years now. I see a loss makes him double down and we see Fisherball on display exponential for the following week.

Good thoughts. I actually thought last week's game was easier...at home and the Bills only have one threat at this point (of course we let that one guy run all over us). The Lions only have one, too (Jones, great signing...talents were obvious but people just wanted to look at AJ Green). Riddick being out helps; at least we won't be screened and dumped off to death.

The win means nothing in terms of validation, whether the Fisher plan is any good, etc. Conversely, I don't think a loss does anything on the Goff meter either. Not expecting much different; this seems like the team we have. But they can win games like this. However, a win just means a win...and that's it much easier to finish above .500 if you stay there throughout the early part and middle of the season. Blew a chance to get 3 games over really early and build in a fair amount of slack. So it's either back to 2 games over or right plunk in the .500 zone again and two losses in a row. Don't know why every game with this team seems like a must win...I guess because we've sucked for a decade and will till proven otherwise.

I haven't been feeling too good about this game all week. This feeling of an impending loss keeps creeping up. Then again, I had that feeling the past 4 games. So who knows? 8-)

London might be a nice place for Goff to get his first snaps. Not looking past Detroit where I'm sure the Rams will play ok - or, well, exactly as good or bad as their opponent, and win or maybe lose, doesn't seem to matter - but London seems like a low pressure environment for the kid. Give him 20 plays in the middle of the game.
