True.

I guess I didn't expect it would be our #1 overall pick out there with a bunch of absolute stiffs for an entire half. That's embarrassing.

Would've been okay with me if we kept Thompson around one more week and let him have game 4...

That's the thing. They want to play a lot of Goff and Mannion in game 4.

I bet inside the organization they are disappointed that Goff hasn't progressed as much as they had hoped. You would think that they expected him to at least challenge Keenum for the starting spot. But it hasn't even been close by a long shot. I wonder who is pointing fingers at whom. Fisher said he isn't in the room with the coaches and the QB and that's scary to me. They could be telling him anything and they may be the problem.

Anyway, we are gonna see a lot of the #1 overall pick on Thursday playing with a bunch of guys who will be parking cars next week. Nice job Fisher.

I know it was already posted that Coples was released, but in the article, he also mentioned that the Rams also released offensive lineman Jordan Swindle and tight end Jake Stoneburner.

I think they know exactly what they were getting in Goff, I think they knew this would be the outcome. Fisher has been very upfront about it and has never done coach doublespeak in regards to Goff starting. I think they saw the intangibles that they were looking for, This kid is mentally tough and has the physical tools that they are looking for. I think they knew it would be an adjustment. Goff is not going to be able to rely on his legs like some of the other young rookie QBs that have come before him that had some initial success. He is a pocket passser that moves well in the pocket. That is why I feel the comparisons to the Mariotta's or Newton's are not accurate. Those guys could tuck and run to move the chains, Goff...not so much.

I would be shocked if any of the WR are cut this round. I think they are going to give everybody at least one more game to prove they belong.
