Ok guys here is what I did. I got a blue hard hat. There $10 on line. And the horns you can find on Amazon for about 20$ just type Rams costume horns. There super light and sturdy. The trick is how to get them to stay on without falling off. Here is what I did. I used JB weld to glue them to the hat. But Quick JB weld will take about 10 min to dry and if you move it it won't stay right. So once I glued them on I used my hot clue gun around the edge of the hones to secure and keep in place in less then a minute. I tried to post a pic but it says file to large. I'll try again taking s pic tomorrow and see if it will work. Oh one more thing note. Before applying the glue. Use something sharp or a filer to file the surface where the horns will go on the hat and the area you are putting the glue on the base of the horns.

Are these horns solid or hollow? Are they made of foam or plastic?

There soft and hollow. Not sure if the material. I'm guessing some kind of rubbery plastic. There light.

NewWorldOrderly wrote:I'm in the process of constructing my own Magnetic Rams Horns.

It's a bit of a craft project, but going to be so legit once they're finished. Basically I'm using these costume horns I found on Amazon and painting them yellow. They are a rigid hard plastic, but hollow. So I'm filling them with some sturdy styrofoam got at a craft store to create a base. Then I'm going to hot glue one of these rare earth magnets to the base.

The magnets are strong enough that I should be able to put one on each side inside my ball cap and the horns will stick on the outside. Also putting together a gold pair of horns to attach to a head band for my wife.

I'll def post photos once completed.

RAM IT!

Magnets inside the ballcap....genius i tell u

All I'm missing is some Rams and RFU sticker.
