On the one hand Floyd is like the anti-Stan, he talks a lot, although he's toned down lately.

Back in April:
(1) Floyd Kephart: “Carson has as good a chance of happening as aliens landing a UFO and becoming first round draft picks.”
(2) "The chances of the Raiders and Chargers joining together and having a stadium in Carson is about the same as you watching me levitate out of here right now," Kephart said.

On this interview, @ 6 minutes, talking about surveys, it sounds like Fred is trying to get Floyd to talk about what he said on the Scott & BR show last Friday:

On the Scott and BR interview, 5:45. Then at 6:55, talking about StL market survey -- "those PSL numbers will not support a team enough to where you can have a repayment of the debt that is necessary."

I'm not sure about that, but that's what he said.

I tried to relay the interview at ROD and it wasn't recieved well when they realized Roggins was involved...I like ROD, but I wonder how long it will survive after the moving trucks back up to the docks at Rams Park?

Oh man, I saw that on ROD. Hats off to you, sir, for maintaining diplomacy and staying above it.

It's provided me much entertainment discussing that. Some of the things people come up with are just sad, and unfortunately very predictable.

Well, I have found that I get more unbiased info from Fred Roggins alone, than in all of St Louis media. He thinks the Rams will be the team to logically make the move to LA, but he isn't in love with the Rams....He is in love with being right..lol. I actually think he is very sympathetic towards Raiders fans in all of this. At 101ESPN in St Louis, the supposed Rams station, all I hear is a fluff piece or just the St Louis position over and over...Even that is VERY short in between hours and hours of Cardinal baseball stuff and St Louis Blues talk, even though we are very close to Camp......If I am listening to filler, I'd rather hear about other LA sports news anyway, like the Dodgers, Lakers, and Kings

The only people that hate on Fred are STL Ram fans and LA Raiders fans Bc he thinks Inglewood will get built. Everyone else enjoys his show. He gives us what we want which is the NFL to LA. He talks about it everyday, gets the best guests on like Grubman,Fabiani, even the mayor of SD was on a couple of days ago, both LA mayors etc. He feeds us. At times he gives us info weeks before anyone else does. He sounds loud and noisy but once you listen to his full show, you'll understand that his funny and entertaining. He's confident and cocky about Inglewood bc he says he knows things about both Carson and Inglewood that we don't and he can't say it publicly now. He claims that he just tells us what people he trusts tell him . Months ago he said Spanos and Stan will work something out and play in Inglewood. It seems like it might be headed that way. Idk but Freds been on top of this and he deserves respect. No one else covers this story everyday like he does.

I've been saying it for months. Carson just has too many problems. I have no clue as to "legal" or "land ownership" problems. But I do know they haven't been telling the truth about the remediation. However far up or down someone's list, its going to come out sooner or later that the conditions the EPA set down before construction can begin have not been met, and have a ways to go before they are.

What I keep wondering is: When it does all come out, and it becomes evident it was all a sham, who is going to look the worst for it? Spanos and Davis? It certainly will take the CharRaiders out of the relocation drama. If I were a Charger fan it would piss me off. This whole thing just get weirder and weirder.

So what's it going to look like when Carson is no longer an option? How are the folks at ROD going to spin it? ( And spin it they will)

I am not sure if I am off base here or not but when it comes to credibility in order Chargers need a lot of help to make a bluff look real. They need a financial partner because they can't build a stadium themselves in San Diego let alone LA so they brought in Goldman to solve that issue. The NFL/TV partners want 2 teams in LA so they went out and partnered with Davis. They needed a site so they chose Carson because they know the NFL has had interest in the past and the Chargers have had some questionable proposed sites over the last 14 years. They also chose Carson because they needed a willing city to go along with the plan for the right price. They have addressed by hiring Policy the perception that this was more a Chargers project and the Raiders. It all seems calculated and so does the legal challenge to the EIR. I would be willing to bet that the law firm is somehow involved or financial backer of Hillary Clinton because once the stadium issues are resolved that's probably where Fabiani ends up.

It just seems like the bluff was so big that something would eventually cause it all to be exposed.

But we can't forget that StL is coming up with half the money to build a shiny new stadium in StL with funding being provided through an end around planned by the same local government that recently breached their contract with the Rams.

OK ROD has some guys who have really backed themselves into a corner. There is a handfull that are either having fun in the debate or are putting their shoes under the wrong bed. We all know who they are and for them (and a few at RRF and the Herd) are going to be very PO'd when the moving van's start lining up on One Rams Way.

Oh and again I too want to want to toss out props to all the proud LA Rams fans for hanging in there at those StL boards over the years with honorable mention to the Ripper and OldSchool who have been on the front lines at ROD throughout "The Thread". Along with bluecoconuts I'm certain you guys have given many a delusional StL fan great pause.

I just figured Fabiani filed the lawsuit himself, or maybe Fabrini did?

But you're right this thing has smacked of bluff from the beginning. If we're right, it's best this house of cards stands for as long as possible. Kroenke wants L.A. and he wants his golfing buddy Dean Spanos to be happy too. Kroenke isn't calling BS because, if Carson is a bluff, and most everybody knows it, it's helping Kroenke too.

Then again, we/i could be reading this wrong. It's been known to happen...
